This is so good! Vicky is an actual junky and Emma comes off as one (probably sleep deprivation?). So his job is absolutely amazing, because it's still just so obvious that those two are not the ones that should be giving advice here.
I also want to point out that while Ellie was mostly nontent, she did do some fun stuff once in a while (like stealing Aryes candy in broad daylight). Emma has done literally nothing. She sometimes kind of acts with other people, like getting Vicky's shoes, but she does nothing out of her own volition. There is still time for her to do fun things once in a while as well, but right now she's no better than her.
