I was derping around looking at other "closed species", aka cash cows (including ones that were literally Lisa Frank-style pomeranians with bandanas and one that was a deer in a hoodie), and realized it's actually a thing. Does anyone know what DA's policy is on these things? Like, do the site owners actually enforce the stupid "Only I can draw this generic thing" rule for snotty artists?

I ask because I'm almost looking for a new art project for the summer and wonder if I want to become a real shit disturbed by exclusively drawing closed species...

Alright what you must do is exclusively draw cat, wolf, foxes and not have any distinguishing features between them. Make them technicolored. Give them Japanese names and make a shitty comic and one being "the chosen one" to bring together all the tribes/packs/clans. And then when you get really popular make a catwolffox with one thing that makes it different and call it a closed species.
I actually really want to try this very soon.

I've been hitting the reeb pretty hard today and have only a pencil and a Sharpie pen, but this may be my greatest creation yet. CLOSED SPECIES, $50 IF YOU WANT ONE!

That's kinda charming in a Lisa Frank girlygirl way. For me the devart vibe means that there's some creepy fetish clearly at work, and... I dunno. Maybe if you drew the legs on wrong, like mixing up what's closer to the viewer.
Or blood. I bet if there's a backstory about how it's a mercenary who has to kill to live it would work on a devart level.

Rinba the Garland was born amidst smoke and salt and blood. His peaceful village burnt by the brutal viking bugaboos. He was taken as a mere infant, raised as a slave in the household of King Cockarainbow. Until the day he killed him with his bear hands and took his crown for his own and earned his cutie mark in bloodshed.

Also I have a Care Bear fetish.

This picture actually as a rather...interesting explanation.
A man sits on the edge of the waterfall, contemplating his place within the world. Which is better, the world where he is known or this isolated utopia where he can experience a new life?

This is among my first photomanipulations and I must say that I'm still rather proud of how it turned out. Originally this was a request made by an online friend that gave me an opportunity to make a statement on being caught between two worlds since it's damn near impossible to live/adapt successfully as a mix within society. Plus, being able to use wolves as a medium was a nice touch because it made the point more personal in the sense I'm spiritually a mix of human and wolf but have to put on a mask in public and being myself on my own time.

No, I don't mean as in being part wolf spiritually that I go running on all fours, hunt animals, scratch myself using my legs, etc. But I share many characteristics/traits of wolves (except the ones I excluded) which are mixed in with me. However, I have to push aside the more obvious wolf ones and integrate the less obvious into me while in public. So, it was great to express this little internal struggle while making a very pleasant photomanipulation to look at (to me at least).

At least it isn't creepy diaper or MSpaint vore. Still, perhaps there lies horror beyond just this one, horror that one shouldn't see (Plus bad anatomy, I mean really, the head shapes could be off plus the breast themselves can be self-explanatory.)
