Funny enough, my parents never did the whole name thing, they yelled for us angrily instead.

My dad never yelled, but had a certain quiet, calm, but deadly tone that meant YOU ARE IN TROUBLE NIGGER.

Going out again this evening and I'm debating skipping the booze altogether. Don't think I will though, I'm told the place I'm going to makes a mean old fashioned.

I was watching some true crime show, and they were doing a memorial of the (20-something year old) dead guy by listening to his favorite songs... and I never heard of a single one of them. Not one.

Good Lord what has happened to me.

Never heard of the artists either.

Granted, it wasn't my genre of music, but I used to know who the popular singers were.

I started liking DMB around the same age. They've always given off a youth biased vibe given the content of their lyrics, consistent touring, and political stances.

Plus, other than Oasis "Wonderwall," there's no better song to jam at a college party than, "Crash Into Me" if you're a pussy enjoyer.

I drank 2 beers last night and I woke up super groggy and dehydrated. Also slept for 10 hours. I used to be able to pound half a bottle of whiskey, wake up after 6 hours, and feel fine.

I feel ya. I used to be able to stay out drinking until 3am, get 4 hours of sleep, go to work for 8 hours, come home and take an hour nap and then go out and do it again.

I’m at the age where if I drink more than four beers I sleep like shit and if I don’t get at least 7 hours of sleep I am worthless the next day.

Two months or so ago I replaced the usual commentary/podcast background noise with classical music and jazz. I used to make fun of my grandparents for listening to "old people music" (classical) so I guess this is a fitting way to find out I'm old now
