What he's wearing is this. Men's formal kimono.

White Part Under Kimono= nagajuban (he is missing this, this is kind of gross because the inside part is meant to be washed not the outside garments. Kimonos are designed to have replacable neck parts for this area.)
Belt= obi
Pants=Hakama
Connecting chain part between Haori= Tonbodama

It's legitimate traditional Japanese attire. Men's colors are in dark and muted tones so he's correct in this larp. They're also made of natural fiber which I'm positive his is given the stiffness and his spergging over synthetic fiber.

Again. Really weird he's missing the white underlayer because that's what keeps sweat and stains from your garment.
