Oh dear. I don't think he understands this place. Just because the culture is different doesn't make it bad. Being from the chans he should know this.

It might be rude, but I've gotta say all his woe-is-me sympathy stories are mighty stereotypical. It's hella convenient that he has all these horrible things happen in his past that he can pull out to try and disprove and explain away all his bad behavior.

Edit: I hope he comes back. I want a chance to explain this place to him. It's not bad like he thinks it is.

He actually does make a good point about Gurren Lagaan since it it wasn't for a snazzy, masculine brotherly/fatherly figure like Kamina beating the wuss out of Simon he would have probably ended up becoming a whiny tranny.
