March 7 bug fixing build (archive)
There were a few bugs in the previous build that were *very* easy for the average player to stumble across. Yikes! I’ve decided to upload a bug-fixing build with those issues resolved.

Adjustments​

  • Puddles of brown paint are now darker, to match the color of brown paint in the buckets they are spilled from.
  • The Week Select music has been replaced with new music.

Fixes​

  • If the player put a student into the “kidnapping box,” then joined a club and performed Practice (either the Light Music minigame or delinquent beat-em-up minigame), upon returning to the school, the kidnapped student would emerge from the box. This bug has been fixed.
  • In the cutscene where Info-chan informs Ayano of the next rival, the button prompt for skipping the cutscene was only displayed as an Xbox button prompt and wouldn’t update to display a keyboard prompt or a Sony prompt. This bug has been fixed.
  • At the very end of a Genocide Run, if the player was seen committing murder by Senpai, the player would get a game over, which would immediately transition into the Genocide Ending cutscene. This bug has been fixed.
  • If the player made an air conditioning unit fall from the school rooftop, saved the game, and then loaded the game, the air conditioning unit would return to its original position. This bug has been fixed.
  • If the player dumped a corpse over the rooftop railing where the air conditioner unit is, the aircon unit would go flying off into the sky! Ooooops. This bug has been fixed.
  • If the player killed a character using the Freezer Room and then wrapped them in a garbage bag, the garbage bag would have an ice texture on it. This bug has been fixed.
  • If the player muted the game’s background music and then used the Pass Time feature, the game’s background music would come back. This bug has been fixed.
  • If the player equipped a “Custom Hairstyle” and then went to the Town Prototype, the protagonist’s hair would be all screwed up. This bug has been fixed.
  • Debug commands (like pressing the spacebar key to reset the scene) were active in the Genocide Ending cutscene. These oversights have been corrected.
  • Some student portraits were inaccurate, or didn’t reflect the latest improvements to those characters. These portraits have been updated.
  • If the player opened the Pause Screen while in Ayano’s home, part of the pause screen menu would be cut off. This bug has been fixed.
  • A family photo of Jokichi and Ayano appeared in 1989, before Ayano was born. This oversight has been corrected.
  • Ayano’s hair lost its physics when she was wearing a raincoat. This oversight has been corrected.
  • It was possible to walk out-of-bounds in the Street environment. This bug has been fixed.
  • Ayano’s panties were invisible in the Town scene. Ooooops. This bug has been fixed.
  • Fixed a typo in Amai/Taro’s Wednesday morning subtitles.

March 15 update (archive)
I’ve prepared a new build for you! I’m just going to let you know up front that it’s not a huge update; it’s mainly a bunch of bug fixes. But, hey, on the bright side, now that I’ve gotten all of these bug fixes out of the way, it means that now I can focus more of my time on improving Amai’s week, as planned!

Additions​

  • Buraza Town now has new background music – and it’s dynamic! That means that the background music will change depending on what part of town you’re currently in. Right now, there are three tracks – default, beach, and shrine. I hope you enjoy the new tracks!

Adjustments​

  • In order to complete Sumiko’s Task, it is necessary to put the captured kitten down on the ground next to her. However, no text in the game informed the player that this was the case. From now on, text will appear onscreen informing the player to put the kitten down next to Sumiko in order to complete her Task.
  • From now on, if the player uses the “Customize Hair” feature in Ayano’s home to give Ayano a different hairstyle, the player’s chosen hairstyle will be used when the player performs a befriend/betray stealth mission.
  • During Chigusa’s photo shoot, it was possible to walk up to the photographers and simply tell them to leave. This was unrealistic, so they will no longer leave the photo shoot at the player’s request.
  • Previously, if the player left Ryoba’s room in 1980s Mode, there was no way to return to her room. It is now possible to return to Ryoba’s room.
  • Info-chan’s icon no longer appears in the 1980s Mode tutorial window.

Fixes​

  • For a long time, players have reported a bug where the game freezes after completing Togo Atatsuma’s task. I have never been able to replicate this bug. Someone finally figured out the circumstances that cause the bug – it only happens if you had a male student unconscious in the “kidnapping box” at the time you completed Togo’s task – and the bug has now been fixed at long last.
  • It’s been proven that activating the “Non-Human Characters” censorship option doesn’t actually provide any sort of protection from YouTube. However, I still wanted to fix a bug with that option, anyway. If the player activated the “Non-Human Characters” option, students’ faces were supposed to appear on their TV heads. However, this was not happening. The bug has been fixed.
  • Some players reported a bug where Osana’s bookbag would appear at her seat after she had been eliminated. I was unable to replicate this bug no matter how many times I tried, but because players were able to present proof of the bug, I implemented some code that should definitely disable Osana’s bookbag if she is eliminated. Let me know if the bug still happens.
  • If Raibaru discovered a corpse and ran to tell Osana about it, and the player spoke to Osana during this moment, Osana would be stuck in a “not sure if she should rotate to face Raibaru or rotate to face Ayano” moment, and the player and character would both fail to move properly. This bug has been fixed.
  • In Mission Mode, if the player’s mission was “dispose of a victim using the sewer” and the player dismembered their victim and dumped their dismembered limbs into the sewer, the game would not acknowledge the victim as disposed properly. This bug has been fixed.
  • If the player spoke to a club leader about joining the club and then just stood there with the club window open, time would pass indefinitely. The player could potentially make a student stand still for hours using this exploit. This bug has been fixed.
  • If the player put lethal poison into Osana’s bento and emetic poison into Senpai’s bento and interrupted their Monday rooftop event, Senpai would not be able to pathfind to the toilet properly after eating the poisoned bento. This bug has been fixed.
  • If the player killed Osana by tying her hair to a heavy weight and dropping the weight into the school pool, then drained the pool to retrieve Osana’s corpse, then saved and loaded, Osana’s corpse would come back to life. This bug has been fixed.
  • If the player put a dismembered limb into a cello case and then put the cello case in front of a student with the lid open so that the dismembered limb was fully exposed and visible, the student wouldn’t react to it. This bug has been fixed.
  • If the player was a super-fast speedrunner and completed Gema’s Task before he even changed his shoes, then he would try to change his appearance at his locker instead of in the mens’ shower building. This bug has been fixed.
  • If the player threw a stink bomb at the teachers and then immediately went into the counselor’s office, the teachers would enter a glitched state where they would not react to things properly. This is no longer possible.
  • If the player joined the Cooking Club and killed Ajia on Week 1 and then advanced to Week 2, Amai would say “speaking to Ajia” voice lines during her “returning to Club” event during Week 2. This bug has been fixed.
  • If a memorial for a dead student took place on a day when one of Amai’s “event objects” was meant to activate (picnic blanket on Thursday, cake on Friday) the object would not activate. This bug has been fixed.
  • If the player killed Amai during an event, then saved and loaded the game, the player would be unable to save again, because the game would think that Amai’s event is still going on. This bug has been fixed.
  • If the player stole Osana’s phone on Friday morning, Senpai would enter the “meet with Osana on the school rooftop” event and then never exit it, remaining on the rooftop forever. This bug has been fixed.
  • In the prototype town, if the player paused the game and then activated Yandere Vision, the player would be able to run around while the game was paused. This bug has been fixed.
  • When joining the Occult Club, the choker that appeared on Ayano’s neck was the old original choker, rather than the new modern choker. This oversight has been corrected.
  • In the small town, there is a fountain. If the player approached this fountain, they would clip into the 3D model and get stuck inside of it. This bug has been fixed.
  • If the player enabled the “censor panties” option and went to the prototype town, the protagonist’s panties would not be censored. This bug has been fixed.
  • If the player disabled hair physics and then laughed as Ryoba, Ryoba’s ponytail would clip through her hair. This oversight has been corrected.
  • In the “Customize Senpai’s appearance” screen, Senpai’s 7th hair model was using the wrong hair texture. This bug has been fixed.
  • While Taro was sobbing over Osana’s corpse, the player could drag Osana’s corpse without Taro noticing. This bug has been fixed.
  • It was possible for the Genocide Ending to trigger even if Senpai was currently reacting to a corpse. This bug has been fixed.
  • If the player got a game over while time was sped up, time would be sped up at the game over screen. This bug has been fixed.
  • If the player threw a stink bomb at Amai during any of her events, her events would break. This is no longer possible.

Isn't anyone else annoyed with r/Osana, most of their complaints come off as Nitpicky and some of them can be seen as borderline a-logging. Like these people talking a big game about shit no one cares about are just people that are annoying. Like it's became acceptable to mock Alex for being a pedophile but don't be a tryhard faggot around it. Also some bitch named Lucina died or wtv. They also allow minors in the space, despite them being adament that Yan Sim is an adult game. I'll do a full write up of r/Osana another day.

They shit on kf even back in the discord speedrun days because we are the hecking ebil doxing website. The sub really is just full of YS fans who hates Alex because commentary youtubers say so, if the whole thing hadn't blown up they would probably still be in the official sub. I remember scrolling it a bit back then and most of the posts were "redesigning / remaking / rewriting x" and it's just them trying to justify putting their anime OC / fanfic into the game. Also they allow minors because a good chunk of them are minor themselves or exceptional individuals. Calling out Alex is like the equivalent of putting "I don't own [copyrighted music]" in the description, they only do it to avoid liability.

This is a constant problem, because the r/Osana subreddit is marketed as a "free pass" to criticisize Alex, yet there's some topics and discussions about pedophillia, murder, and several adult topics that should NOT be had on a subreddit where you allow minors.

r/Osana Discord Chat Logs​
I am risking an account suspension, I have been lurking in this server since Nazo being a nigger disabled link invites. I lurked in here for years now, and quite frankly after the recent dogpiling and whining about the OP in the post above I have decided to release the chat logs. I want to say for the record, Nazo. You're an incompetent fucking nigger, I can hone in all I want about how you aren't singlehandedly cultivating a special safe space for people to critcise when half of your subreddit are minors posting about "CHAT IS THIS AI!" or "Hey, I think this literal who artist is using AI."

Also who would have thought having a subreddit dedicated to drama would bring you drama? Because of how terminally online Alex Critics are, this whole discord chat shit took forever. Goes to show even Alex's critics are retards. Putting the A in Log. r/Osana is filled with minors due to the borderline nitpicky critques down to sexualization and racism and other shit I do not care for. They would clutch their pearls over mentions of "Wanting Nudity" in a game, down to anyone calling them out rightfully for being a bunch of puriteen fags.

In fact if you search up 18+ in the subreddit alone, it would turn up with the ages of characters being 18 as claimed by Chalex. The thing is, most game developers have that stupid disclaimer even when to protect them, I like to point out Dan Salvato claimed all DDLC Girls were adults, and some of them I do not believe, they always bring up Daganropa but never Corpse Party or Higaroushi When They Cry, two games that have sexualized minors. These people hammer in points we have also went over (I do believe some of them are fine with DOL, and most fans of that game isn't realizing the game was marketed towards lolicons, and the tacky ALL CHARACTER ARE 18+ isn't real, because Vrel didn't change a damn thing and it too came from 4Chan.) I don't know Kiwis, I just do not care for detractors of Alex when they too have qualties they criticize Alex for.

In the server there's not really any safe gaurds or anything to prevent children from accessing content, while there's a no NSFW rule, There's still some... Interesting discussions to be had, in the main subreddit I have already mentioned they talk about non minor friendly safe things there, and I firmly believe minors shouldn't be engaging or at the very least speaking about adult topics relating to pedophiles, even if its for "informing" I do not trust the yandere sim community to make a fair assumption or understand this as it's exposing minors to NSFW. It's good to inform but building a community on the NSFW shit that got a minor groomed? Golly me.

While this isn't as much as a big deal as topics like that comes up quite often, reminder, this is a server where children are present I do not believe that children should be exposed to conversations about these, especially since there's adults.

Here's some people defending keeping minors in the server. Something I had to witness while this shit's going on. Notice how the concerns are shot down as "whats that going to do" when there's been minors exposing the fact they were talking to Alex in his server. So if anything, your claim of "They will go to Alex to speak to him instead!" is flimsy, this faggot also claims to this concerned party that warnings are enough to persuade children away, when no. It's not, many minors are inspired to do the OPPOSITE of what people say.

The way it's worded sounds like they offered a "safer alternative" when the safer alternative is allowing minors unrestricted access to talk about porn, cp, lolicon and pedophiles, with no proper age gate, and they refuse to implement said safe gates because "IF WE BAN MINORS THEN THEY WILL GO BACK TO THE PEDO!" that makes you sound like a dumb nigger in my honest opinion. Don't market yourself as an all age server, where did it get so bad that you have Alex's signature FAQs section where you have to clarify that you're not a hater, when the most terminally online channel is the quarentined channel dedicated to a pedophile where you encourage children to discuss and ignore important shit.

No, I have said this about Limus and I will say it here (though Limus had been shown to be very dismissive and avoident and it was revealed that he was at the very least in contact with minors in DMs.), calling you out for being negliant about the topics you freely speak about is not signs your a pedophile, but it's extremely irresponsible and can lead into some sucrunity. In some cases, making a server based off a reddit that offers freedom of expression to talk smack about a pedophile is opening discussions dedicated to said pedophile. It doesn't matter if you can confirm the ages of people or not. Exposing children to porn or topics that are not suitable for kids, is grounds to be accused of far worse.

Throwing excuses out like "Everyone lies about their age so what!" defeats and distracts from shit. The fact I am even saying this really makes me wonder if these types of servers are even worth entertaining and if you tranny jannies are reading this. Do something about this shit. Just because your critical of Alex and since you're not pedophiles doesn't mean it's safe from any accusations to pop up.

  • There is around six moderators and admins, for a fucking 700+ Server, that's not a really good even number. Especially since it's a big server.​
  • I am fairly confident most of them are minors.​

Not really - that never stopped games like Danganronpa from garnering new blood. The fact it's actively in development and has a Bibliotheca Alexandria of drama longslop on it helps.
