Yknow, a playthrough of DS using a hideously overpowered build could actually be pretty entertaining if the person doing it was a genuinely skilled player and they frequently showed off just how ridiculously cheap it is all while having a good laugh. The problem with Phil doing it is that he's trying to pass it off as him getting through the game with his actual skills while at the same time still dying constantly because even with a massive crutch he's an incompetent tool. It's just frustrating watching an arrogant manchild using a broken part of the game and his fans' handholding to get through a game and claiming it's all because he's so good.

Absolutely. Hell, OnlyAfro made an entire YouTube channel out of playing gimmick builds in Souls games. Just about all of his videos of this style are hilarious. Other people who are more in-depth into the Dark Souls and Bloodborne communities have done stuff like that to show off full runs of the main game, too. Same deal; generally entertaining content to watch. It's all about their personalities, though. Those people are interesting to watch and have great commentary about the game. Phil just doesn't. He is terrible at engaging an audience on his own.

I also hate how he tries to regularly fake reactions to seem smarter than the c-average to d student he really is. Whether it be pretending he 'solved' a puzzle he derped on for like two videos or when he tried that pretend mimic false wall shit from his "redemption run" of the first game. He just cannot admit, even when you can watch him in real time, that he looks for help.

It doesn't make sense that there'd just be a dead end for a shitty item? Every area has a half-dozen of these spots. And then the "random" attacks to hit the "mimic". Fuck off.

What was the name of the chat site that streams dsp when he plays on twitch? I remember it had a black background and I think sok created it.
