The reason it's so high is because they hate themselves. They think changing genders will make them happy. So you get the surgery, and well, you still hate yourself. This was supposed to fix everything, this was the magic cure, and it didn't work. You have no other options left, nothing more you can do.

Either live in misery with a stink ditch, or find a bridge.

People who enable this are not helping.

Self help is not about one magic trick that makes you happy, it's about small changes over time to make you stable.
