Well, the zipper won't prevent your penis from turning into shredded cheese if it is exposed to the vacuum of space, but it can prevent your penis from being exposed in the first place. It's not a regular zipper, is a space tech zipper which has speciality rubber between the teeth that create an air-tight seal. The rubber is flexible enough to weave between the teeth and durable enough not to fall apart from getting zipped over and over.
Can't really find a good picture of it. Later scuba diver dry suits use the same tech.

Also, it's been giving me this rendering bug recently where the background is the previous tab for some reason. It didn't do that when I discovered it a few weeks ago, and it's always been buggy about replacing text with new text.

Unironically the most broken website I've experienced in years. It keeps freaking out and overlaying the text several times, or somehow keeping my previous tab as the background.
