Good grief, this reminds me of my old job.

Tho honestly, I prefer rubbing shitstains off the walls compared to the fucking needles. Believe or not, but I don't wanna your HIV or whatever small goblin there is in the needle hole waiting for my hand.

The website is unfortunately made by a troon and therefore has a few troonish idiosyncrasies, but List Animals Until Failure is genuinely pretty fun and challenging.
there are some seriously bullshit answers on this. if you won't let me count bison and buffalo, then you don't get to let me count african elephant and indian elephant. definitely reeks of troon autism. also you can name shit that doesn't have a soul like bugs, and extinct stuff. gay all around imo.

I did one more run, both on my computer and knowing a bit better how the game works:

Specific animals usurp their more generic terms. So the "bison/buffalo" dichotomy works better when you enter that latter as "water buffalo." It's definitely troon autism in that as long as there is a different scientific classification, it will count as a different animal. Occasionally you'll get snark at the end regarding stuff like "dogs vs dingoes." The person who made this is probably super interesting at parties.

1774834032757.png
1774834097846.png

like why the fuck would it include Mule and Liger but not Zedonk??
Things like THIS pissed me off so much:

1774833821059.png

1774833838520.png

1774834155772.png

1774834230652.png

Buffalo are bison, deer are moose, toads are frogs, and tortoises are turtles, BUT OH OKAY DUGONGS AND MANATEES IS WHERE WE DRAW THE FUCKING LINE APPARENTLY
1774834211130.png
and I'm apparently not the only one mad about the buffalo/bison thing (they're DIFFERENT!!!) because when the game ended, it gave me this screen:
1774834317590.png

"eeh since they're colloquially known as buffalo they're the same animal--" NO THE FUCK THEY'RE NOT FUCKING KILL YOURSELF, RETARD
anyway these responses were kind of funny:
1774833722938.png

1774833953783.png
1774834056554.png
1774834127634.png
and it not only let you name extinct animals, but also hominids for some reason, so I cheesed it and named every dinosaur and hominid ancestor I could think of.
1774833992002.png

I wasn't 100% sure what a "troonish idiosyncracy" would be in this kind of game but yeah, I see it now. I'm pretty impressed I got so many animals, though I know I missed a bunch (and got a few 'cause of the pedantry like "eeeeh lesser or greater kudu" fuck off but thanks for the free animal)

oh my god forgive my doublepost but I'm ltierally SO enraged, SNAILS ARE NOT SLUGS AND CHIPMUNKS ARE NOT SQUIRRELS WHAT THE FUCK
If it’s a generic term than he defaults them together. I betcha “cone snail” and “banana slug” each count. You have to take the mentality of Wikipedia-fueled autistic pedantry.

Yeah, he's very opinionated about certain animals.

Also, it's been giving me this rendering bug recently where the background is the previous tab for some reason. It didn't do that when I discovered it a few weeks ago, and it's always been buggy about replacing text with new text.
