Two 8-month-old pit bulls that were loose in Nanaimo attacked several children, severely injuring at least one. Other people that came to aid the children were also injured.

The children were playing in a yard at the house of one of their friends. The dogs were from somewhere else in the neighborhood and had been cited for being at large previously.

One of the owners of the dogs came and got the dogs but did not stick around. The news interviewed the other owner, a Dangerhair that looked to be in her late 40s or early 50s. While she was devastated at what her dogs had done, she said to the reporter, "People are saying, look at this from the prospective of a parent, well, these dogs are my kids, too," and then she broke down crying.

It was later reported both dogs were euthanized, as there have been other incidents prior to this one, and due to the severity of the injuries the one particular child sustained.

To the dangerhair dog owner I would have to say, "If these dogs were your KIDS, you did a lousy job of raising them. Thank heavens you didn't spawn any of your own."

When will these people realize some dogs are too dangerous to be allowed to keep living? This isn't fair to anyone to inflict this type of dog onto other people or their pets, because this dog's behavior is a danger to the public,

'Experienced foster' to do what, exactly? This isn't a tiny, scared fear-biting Chihuahua, it's an aggressive 70-80 pound dog that has the size and strength to quickly kill an adult human. It's a huge risk and liability for anyone to take on.

A 6-year-old Detroit boy is recovering in the hospital after a violent animal attack that left him severely injured. His family said doctors had to amputate one of his arms, and relatives are bracing for additional surgery that could remove the other.
But wait guys...

Everything is okay now, Logan has never been bitten by a pitbull.

Are black people incapable of doing anything to help a defenseless women getting mauled by a shitbull, much less call the police.

There are ungodly amounts of pitbull attack videos with bystanders or even the victim themself doing FUCK-ALL to escape or neutralize a pit. It genuinely fills me with rage when I see perfectly capable men and women watch some poor sod getting attacked by a genetic freak canine just stand around or gingerly bop the dog on the noggin.
You need to be caving these fucking animal's skulls in with sticks, clubs, your bare fists, or even biting the dog's goddamn throats out. The animal is no longer holding back and so neither should you. I am convinced so many grown people die to these mere 60-to-70-pound mini hellhounds because they are unwilling to viciously kill a dog, whether they own the beast or not.

Pitbulls make dogs as a whole worse just by existing. Not just by getting people to associate their horrific behavior with all dogs but also by spreading their defective genes around.
Apologies for double-post, but relevant.

Pitbulls are prone to skin diseases and certain cancers/tumors which may or may not be harmless to the animal. The whole "diaper rash" look many pits get on their stomachs and lips is due to over-licking most likely from the pits neuroticism and skin issues.
Because they were bred to fight as early as possible, whether that be other dogs or wild animals, they naturally have a high mortality rate and so genetically they ARE actually inferior in quality of life than other dogs on average. They have been genetically manipulated to have insane muscle density, and an unhinged mental state, which I am sure has a lot of chemical processes different from the usual dog. Hence, the body just gives out more often in these poor walking weapons.

In today's hyper-litigious hyper-liberal-prosecutorial society? It's easy to just say "not worth getting involved" , even over an animal attack.

We've all seen cops get put through the wringer for shooting crazy people with knives out because "how did you know they were a danger?" , and they have civil immunity.

What hope does Joe Schmoe have that he won't get even worse? Those who play hero today? Get victimization as the reward because the crumbling institutions around us that let this happen want to hold on to their power, and successful street-level action they didn't get put in charge of is a threat.

Know what would go through my mind if I saw the person next to me getting mauled? "If that dog's owner is rich and or a minority? I'll be in court for the rest of my life over it if I muss one hair"

They say the first rule of emergency response is "don't become another victim" ? Well, that includes being lawfared to the poor house too, unfortunately.

So I don't blame people for not intervening. Just not worth it. They're just deciding to not become the next victim. Either of an out of control animal they have likely no practical experience in how to stop or of a society whose courts are largely out of control and seek to take on those they know they can win against to enforce narratives, not those that actually are criminally responsible for the sake of justice.

Until that changes? If it ever does?

Arm yourself and look out for yourself, because, nobody is coming to save you, even if they are only an arms reach away, and that's not their fault.

Been wanting to post about this for a while but kept forgetting. This will be long, from r/banpitbulls:

A woman named "Jen" and her husband became convinced they needed to adopt an obese pitbull named Poundcake. She was listed as needing to be an "only dog" by the shelter. The shelter tried to be semi-responsible by denying Jen's application as she already owns multiple dogs (IDK if they're pits or not). Jen whined about her plight on social media, and another rescue secretly acquired Poundcake from the shelter underground railroad-style so Jen can foster Poundcake through them.

That same rescue (I think) later gives her another foster shitmix named Cesar. Unsurprisingly, Poundcake kills a neighbor's dog and attacks Cesar. The murdered dog was being walked by the neighbors' kids, and Jen victim blames them, stating: "Neighborhood kids intentionally pulling their small dog in front of poundcake..." Both Poundcake and Cesar are injured and Jen's family cannot afford surgery for them. Shocking! I agree it's kinda shitty for a rescue to not help a foster but they brought this on themselves and what else do you expect from a shitbull warehouse?

These posts aren't super specific but it seems like they are trying to blame the rescue for not helping pay for Poundcake and Cesar's medical care. Shocking! Both Cesar and Poundcake are spending their days doped up and in pain, and Jen and her husband spend their days e-begging on social media for pitbull money and playing victim.

If you ignore professional advice and it blows up on you, you aren't a victim. If your doctor proves you have Type 2 diabetes and you lose limbs because you chose to ignore them, you aren't a victim. If a shelter denies you a dog over safety concerns and you cheat the system in order to get that dog, you are NOT a victim when that dog eventually snaps and kills something, The only victims in this scenario are the neighbors and their dog, Cesar, and Poundcake herself (because she should've been BE'd a long time ago and not made to suffer for social media points). Reminder guys...Jen tried to do this "the right way!" <3

I know nobody hates pits more than pit advocates but it still amazes me that a rescue saw Poundcake and thought, "Yes this dog who is clearly violent towards other dogs and needs to be an 'only dog' definitely needs to go to a home with other dogs!" IDK if the original shelter knew the rescue was trying to get Poundcake for this retarded whore, but given they denied her first, I don't think they would've released Poundcake if they knew what the rescue's intentions were.

I hate these people.
Sadly I can see kids bringing their own dog over innocently thinking it would be a harmless doggy 'meet and greet' but that's the best I have. Ultimately it's just better to avoid them especially when walking a dog or with a small child because 98% of the time it's a 'rescue bait dog' (a.k.a fight winner), a badly bred backyard bully or the immediate descendant of these, so who wants to take the risk?

Video:

A group of dogs got out, two Cane Corsos an a Pitbull, who then wandered a neighborhood and mauled a jogger, who's in the hospital. The police then arrived and killed the Cane Corsos, but the Pitbull got away and was finally hunted down and killed this morning. The comments on social media included typical Pitbull discussion with tards posting photos of their Pits and people crying racism.

Sadly, Cane Corsos are becoming more popular and we're going to hear about more attacks involving them in the not-too-distant future. I wouldn't say they're "more" dangerous than terriers but they can be just as bad if they're not trained and socialized from puppyhood.

Dogs with box shaped heads all tend to be vicious. Cane Corsos can easily be mistaken for a shitbull.

I posted this story a while ago of someone's XL Bullys nannying someone to death mere days after the ban came into force. Took 2 but the asshole has finally been found guilty and will be sentenced on 1st April: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c75e6qpl4p0o

I do just want to highlight this bit, because this is pure unadulterated pitnutter:
Sentencing was today for this asshole whose xl shitbull was the first to kill someone after the ban went into place, 10 years in jail with a requirement to serve at least 40% before he'll be possibly eligible for parole: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c4gx2lv8888o

Also today, another asshole whose xl bully killed an elderly person was found guilty, due to be sentenced in a couple of weeks:https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/ckg02gyjq1qo.
A man whose XL bully savaged an 84-year-old man - who later died from his "horrific" injuries - has been found guilty of owning a dog that caused injury while dangerously out of control.

John McColl died a month after the attack by the dog, called Toretto, which had to be shot 10 times by police officers in Warrington, Cheshire, on 24 February 2025.

Sean Garner, now of Belle Vale in Liverpool, has been convicted following a trial at Liverpool Crown Court.

The 31-year-old previously admitted two counts of possessing an XL bully without an exemption certificate relating to Toretto and another XL bully dog, called Malibu, which was found inside the house. He is due to be sentenced on 17 April.

They're very dangerous fighting dogs, but unlike shitbulls, at least until recently, the majority of owners were entirely aware of this and controlled them, instead of pretending they were harmless, adorable little pitbabbies.

And when you do see people trying to help you see them often trying to pull the dog off rather than hitting it. There was a video a few pages back of a shitbull that had grabbed onto a toddler on a busy New York street, and there were multiple grown men trying to pull it off of the kid, pulling didn't do shit, and the dog only let go after another guy came up from behind and grabbed the dog's junk.

UPDATED WITH SENTENCE: Man jailed after fatal XL Bully dog attack that killed grandmother

31 March 2026
Press Release East of England

A man responsible for an XL Bully dog that mauled a grandmother to death at a property in Essex has been jailed for more than 10 years.

On February 3 2024, Ashley Warren left 68-year-old Esther Martin with two adult XL Bully dogs and eight puppies at his home in Jaywick, Essex, while he travelled to London.

Ashley Warren
From 1 February 2024, ownership of XL Bully dogs was prohibited unless the owner held a valid exemption certificate. Warren, 41, did not hold such a certificate.

Within hours of being left in the home on February 3 – two days after the ban came into force – Ms Martin, who was 5ft 3in tall and had mobility issues, was attacked.

She suffered multiple bite injuries, which resulted in her death.

During the trial, jurors heard that due to the extreme aggression displayed by the dogs, police officers and emergency services were initially unable to enter the property. Armed officers were then required to deploy tasers to immobilise the two adult dogs before it was safe to enter.

The prosecution's case was that Warren was the owner of one of the adult XL Bully dogs, a male called Bear, and was in charge of the second adult dog, a female called Beauty, which belonged to his girlfriend.

The jury was satisfied that one of the adult dogs was dangerously out of control and that Warren was legally responsible for its actions.

Following his arrest, Warren was found in possession of a knife. During the trial, he accepted having the knife but claimed it was a prop used earlier that day while filming a music video in London.

On 19 February at Chelmsford Crown Court, Warren was convicted of one count of owning a dog dangerously out of control causing injury resulting in death, and one offence of possessing a knife in a public place.

At the same court today, he was sentenced to a total of 10 years and three months' imprisonment.

Great idea to have unarmed cops responding to extremely dangerous situations.

This, though, is a good idea. If you own one of these murder dogs and it murders people, you should be treated as if you'd done it yourself.

I don't see what an unarmed person can do about a rampaging dog that doesn't respond to blunt force trauma. The best you can probably do is find and hit them with a fire extinguisher. Nobody wants the pit to turn on them next.
