I loathe this man. Everything about him inspires revulsion and disgust.complaining about the ethics board, and lapsed CLE's
Prohibition on holding oneself out as a lawyer when not authorized to practice is not merely about regulating commerce; it's recognizing the role (real and perceived) lawyers have in society. The VERY REASON it is important to Nick to call himself a lawyer IS THE REASON for the rule.
Also:
- Representation pro bono does NOT have a lower standard of conduct, so fuck you and your, "and I was even pro bono, so..." bs.
- And you blew off a hearing, not "elected an alternative legal path."
- Yes, you were sick; it's called drug sick.
- And no, you are not "a lawyer" when suspended, not without the clear and up-front qualification that you are not authorized to practice. You have to provide that qualification. Every fucking time. And that for most people is nothing compared to big, public-facing statements and advertising of your stupid lame streamed bitch sessions that are TRYING to reach all those totally real subscribers.
- You are qualified to practice in 0 states and 0 countries, anywhere in the world, Nick. You have a J.D. (which, btw, is what some people include in a business signature/ card when they either were never admitted to practice, are not currently practicing or authorized to practice - when they are not or are no longer an Esq., an admitted attorney licensed and authorized to practice law RIGHT NOW). (Some companies don't even let you include JD on your internal email signature if you are not employed specifically as counsel to the company - even if you are an Esq., and fully qualified and authorized to practice in your jurisdiction. Why not? Because it implies an inaccuracy and gives words by those people more weight (and potential legal liability). ...Is it clicking at all yet, Nick?
- Lol "idk why anyone cares I'm suspended; I still know just as little about law as I did before I disregarded my ethical rules, lol, yumad?" Aw, gee, Nick, how meta of you to exemplify why it matters when saying you're mystified why it does. And I don't doubt he's mystified, both because he's really, really stupid and also because he has a narcissist's orientation. And as mati as I am about this inept smoke-blowing (or blow smoking, whatever you're "into right now," Nick), I had to laugh at him literally not getting why actually practicing law is relevant for his (and everyone's other than select elite law professors at law schools at which he wouldn't even be admitted to for a generic campus tour) supposed credibility. But that it's all moot because the fact that he actually doesn't know jack makes it funny.
THIS is why he should be disbarred purely on principle. He does not respect nor know a single thing about what it means to be a lawyer. He literally is too dumb and too corrupt to understand the concept of ethics (or rules around them) and the reasons for having them.I guess there, I guess there is like a reliance on some of the
credibility of the license, I guess. I don't know.
But lol at him still thinking his "how can you discipline me if I'm not actually a lawyer" inanity is clever. I mean, this is the essence of sub-midwittery. Kayla must have to lace his shoes for him, istg.
