Honestly surprised it took this long for them to sign him, he's the perfect QB to either bridge start before they put in Mendoza or back him up, they're very similar players.
Makes sense for him to start over Mendoza, since they'll finish 4th in the division this year again. It'd be smart to have Mendoza sit a year, learn the playbook, and get acclimated to NFL speed.

He's definitely just a bridge QB while Mendoza learns the playbook - though watch the Raiders go full Raiders and not draft him - , but it'll never not be funny to see Kirko Chainz continue securing his legacy. Not as a Hall of Fame caliber player, but as a generational bag securer.

Cousins' agent announced the deal, which will pay the four-time Pro Bowler $20 million in guaranteed money in 2026, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. It will mark the 11th consecutive season that Cousins' contract will be fully guaranteed.

The deal also includes a club option for two years at $80 million and could be worth up to $172 million over five years, the source told Schefter, although only the $20 million this year is fully guaranteed.
His agent is a first ballot HoF lock-in.

New Falcons unis finally dropped

Honestly, pretty underwhelming, seems like they played it extra-extra safe after the last drop being such a disaster. Seeing a lot of 'Atlanta Cardinals' memes in relation to the red jersey, which is pretty spot on lmao. However, I do like that we're bringing back the red lettering on the white jerseys, that looks great in my opinion. All in all I'm just glad to be out of the utter dogshit we've been rocking for the past few years, those jerseys will not be missed, and anything that isn't them is a marked improvement in my book.

I saw recently in the mock draft that Jacob Rodriguez is projected to go in the second round. I thought he was initially predicted to be a top 5 pick, but if that's the case, Dallas should trade both first-round picks to get Maxx Crosby, and then we can draft Jacob Rodriguez in the second round.

Their doctor is one of the current soft tissue gurus in the NFL that even other teams consult. In fact, he was the only one I saw named as having reviewed the medical records in the Crosby trade fallout. Dallas appears to have cooled their jets after the Ravens pulled out. I'm not saying Crosby's knees are fucked and the Ravens didn't get cold feet after seeing they could get Hendrickson cheaper, but there appears to be some fire to that smoke.

Hailee Steinfeld has given birth to a girl. Josh, you know what you must do now.

The Falcons should just make their throwbacks the standard unis. I get they need constant changes to make money, but the old logo and jerseys look the best.

Their jerseys up until 2003 are still eye candy. Simple but classy. Just an old school football uniform. I wore Vick's rookie jersey out back in middle school, loved it.

What is there not to love?

I wish they'd just stick with these for alternates. These early Nobis-era throwbacks are some of the coolest looking unis in the league, and I'm not even a Falcons fan.

Edit: Ninja'd, apparently there's a consensus on these things.

Crucify me if you must but I actually like the Atlanta panel jerseys.

Are you a Bills fan like me, or are you a Patriots or Dolphins fan?
I'm pretty sure that if you asked even Manchester United fans "What do you think of the New York Jets" you'd get something along the lines of "fuck the jets lmaoooo." It's one of those universal truths.
