Phil's got enough people messing with him at all times that he doesn't need to mess with himself, and he's the type of person to value authentic experiences over fake ones. That's apparent in his videos - When he claims the game glitched as an excuse then he sounds like he normally does but when he encounters an actual glitch he makes a huge deal over it as if to say "See? I'm not making ANYTHING up!"

Exactly. Someone truly broke would not be sitting on that condo. Someone broke would not be hoarding statues in his bedroom because they're selling for $500 instead of the $750 he wants. It's all bullshit to make his fans feel bad for him and donate money. He is a manipulator. That's why he fucks w/ the story of his Patreon front facing number so much. That's why he says shit like "If I do the Patreon goal regardless, my fans won't be incentivized to give me money." It's all manipulative bullshit and children and Norwegians fall for it.

For the most part I agree.
Yes Phil uses every little thing to milk money out of his fans but I also believe ego prevents Phil's from understanding his own financial situation as he simply assumes he deserves it. He's yet to face a situation so dire that would require he makes cuts because luck/begging/parental support bail's him out

I know people in far worse financial situations than phil who still keep spending money like it's going out of fashion, so long as they keep shifting credit card debt between cards the cycle never ends. We know Phil juggles his cards so it's no real mystery.

This is what I predict, Phil I am sure in his sociopathic and insane mind can't wait for Momma and Pop Pop to kick off so he can get their house and their life insurance. What will most likely happen is his Father will kick off first and his Mother will be alone. Phil might move back in with her to pretend to be a good son when really he is waiting for her to die.

I'm sure thats what he's planning but his cousin/step sister already has that covered.
Though I'm sure having to live with Phil for an extended period would push Phil's mother into a early grave....and not Phils jungle of cables lying around would.

Providing he lives that long, considering his health and lifestyle. Like life itself ragequits on him the moment he can harvest his parents crops. Nothing he could do.

Those of us in his chat today were trying to goad him into going back to Bloodborne, with a brilliantly strategic "you have clearly conquered the mastery of the Souls universe" placed in for good measure to pump up his ego even further.
DSP said it won't happen this summer, but mark my words...he's going back to it with a no-grinding run. If he was smart, he'd make it a $1,500 Patreon goal.

I'm starting to think all the reverse psychology he uses is true.

For example when he says, "Yea all the haters have no friends" or "all haters have small brains" he's just talking about himself. I think most of those moments he's describing himself but projecting it onto others because of his NPD.

Personally I feel as if people simply cannot wrap their heads around Phil being THAT financially irresponsible. They simply can't believe that someone this stupid can exist.

It's easier for them to think Phil is just scamming people and not genuinely having financial issues every few weeks.

I listened to that "Victory" pre-stream he did today - I think I'm convinced he faked the whole thing now. The video felt like over-the-top porn level acting from him. It had a very forced insincere happiness to it. Also, the coincidence and timing of it to get "resolved" is too crazy now.

People saying Phil is too stupid to pull off a scam like that should know that usually it's the laziest of idiots that become geniuses when it comes time to scam.

Amen to that. He has one talent, and it is to milk his mentally underdeveloped fanbase with lies and fake emergencies.

I don't believe Phil set up this whole copyright strike thing, but the fact he keeps bringing it up almost seems like damage control. Maybe it is because he knows he is right so he is not afraid to engage in this conversation, or maybe it is because he knows he over exaggerated and his channel was never coming down. Usually he ignores "detractor" theories but he has brought this up multiple times today.
