Their definition on what counts as a loli and what doesn't change depending on the circumstances. When a guy says he isn't into 9 year old and likes high school girls - so he can't be a lolicon. But if you say Lolicon = pedophilia it's just a body type of a petite women.

Let me use an example from one of their favorite games. In Blue Archive, the following characters are 16 years old and are considered to be lolis by many lolicons.

Some 17-year-old characters as well! Though, a lot fewer, I have seen people refer to these characters as lolis before.

Also, high school age can also include 15-year-olds in Japan and South Korea. And there are many more examples of 15-year-olds in Blue Archive and a lot of them are loli characters.

So which is it? If they believe 16- and 17-year-old characters can't be lolis, then according to this logic these characters I have shown aren't lolis. Despite lolicons absolutely loving some of these characters, and they have commonly referred to them as a lolis. As I said, they use selective definitions when it's convenient for them to.

I noticed that a while ago when I tried to look for an article from a pro lolicon website that was linked on one of the wiki pages on the topic & couldn't find it after (should have bookmarked it) It was a pro lolicon website that was going over the legal issues with lolicon & discussions the author had with lawyers & came to the conclusion that lolicon is borderline illegal in America except in the most fringe of cases, & anyone trying to buy it or access it using a federally regulated service can be arrested for it if caught.

Guess pro lolicon people can't handle the truth even from their own side, while trying to come up with ways to defend it.
