James moved out of his old house in Philly that had the old-school 1970s wood paneling basement that was in 2008-2015 AVGN videos into a new house and decided that he was going to reconstruct it in his garage instead of using its basement to build a new nerd room. He decided to put a fake video rental store down there instead. Also interesting to note the same year he moved out of the old wood panel basement (2015) was when the show really took a huge nose dive in quality. Seaman was the last video shot in that basement and the nerd went to shit very soon after.
