“We got our butts kicked,” said U.S. Rep. Tom Tiffany, who is running for governor.

He was referring to Democratic victories in campaigns for the Wisconsin Supreme Court and the mayor’s office in Waukesha, a conservative suburb outside Milwaukee. But some Republicans were also rattled by a special election in Georgia, where their candidate to replace Marjorie Taylor Greene in Congress won by a much slimmer margin than the party enjoyed in the past.

Special elections can be notoriously unreliable as political benchmarks, but Democrats have consistently demonstrated surprising strength. They flipped a Texas state Senate district. They won a Florida state House seat in a district that includes President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach.

Then they gained ground on Tuesday in the race to replace Greene, who resigned from Congress in January after a falling out with Trump.

Georgia has key races this year, including an open contest for the governor’s office. Sen. Jon Ossoff, a Democrat, is trying to defend his seat as well.

In November, Democrats defeated two Republican incumbents in statewide races for seats on the Public Service Commission, which regulates utilities. Rising electricity rates have been a fault line in recent campaigns, especially as enormous data centers are built to power artificial intelligence.

My understanding is Democrats performed better than expected in a few elections, but still lost. Is that not the case?

It is perfectly reasonable, logical, and bare minimum common sense to hate Islam and what it tells Muslims to do.

It's an ass-backwards, barbaric, goat fucking, and child raping religion full of people who want to kill you if you don't assimilate to them. And I'm not being the least bit hyperbolic when I say that ... It's fact.

There seriously needs to be a "Joos Derangement Syndrome" thread. It's getting just as bad as TDS at this point.

Take a good look at the current state of the West, especially in Europe (and very soon to be the United States if we don't get our shit together). I dare someone to try to convince me it's not Islam being the biggest threat to First World civilization.

Yeah I get it, there's some rich, shekel counting assholes who influence a lot of bad things ... But I don't think that the religion is to blame for that. It is very, very easy to see which religion is set to violently destroy our ways of life.

Occasionally they make threads complaining about Kiwifarms because of Catch The Rainbow being allowed to exist on the site and saying that Jewsh's deplatforming problems would be solved if he called out the JQ more during his streams.

overall the article's main purpose is MAGA demoralization but it is true that Wisconsin's supreme court went from 4R-3L in 2020 to 5L-2R after this election and the previous one which was famous for Elon Musk trying to buy votes. news agencies are doing victory laps over the win because their gains have been modest at best everywhere else

Wisconsin is almost meaningless because once you get outside the city limits of Madison and Milwaukee, it's basically "The Hills Have Eyes: Innawoods Edition."
