I'd question the early 20s part, this is like teenager shit, that being said I have met many people that behaved this way beyond thayt.

Not understanding that failure to act on the unsaid is the death of "making a move" is understandable... for someone significantly younger than Landon.

I'm not trying to knock him or anything, as you've said this is stuff you generally get out of the way at a much younger age. I feel bad for the guy. It's a literal humiliation ritual that many (young) men go through.

Where I will denigrate him is for failing to realise he bottled it, if he doesn't learn from it then it's all for naught.
