This makes me think it's more likely that he has NPD, he genuinely believes there's a seperate set of rules for himself
 
My non-gilded, instinctual take on is it that
  • The bull is actually a good friend of Jeremy, not a sexual thing in this case (boring I know, but the most likely outcome).
  • He's wealthy and has some sort of investment in one or more of Jeremy's businesses (he's mentioned he has outside investors).
  • The bull is very upset about the attention he's getting (especially the criminal history, which Jeremy likely knew about) and demanded forcefully that Jeremy deals with it.
  • Jeremy, in somewhat of a panic, starts exploring every avenue he can. Comes up with the "protecting my wife" facade just so he has an out for his audience.
  • He still has some clout at YouTube, and cashes in on several favors/mortgages his credibility on this issue to get these channels removed.

I don't think he's thought out the long-term consequences of this - I think his hand was mostly forced by the bull (who isn't even his bull, but has financial sway over him due to investments) and he's in a fight or flight mode. Also part of why he's drunk-tweeting so much, he needs to drink to cope with how destructive the decisions he's making are, He's trapped and has to pretend everything is business as usual, when he knows deep down that he's boxing himself in further and further.
