Just a quick Katrina/Emmy update - her CRPS has spread everywhere (Just like Caitlyn!), so I guess it's now AOOH syndrome: All Over Ouchy Hurty syndrome.

So she's claiming to be allergic to gabapentin? That's what she's referencing, right? And lidocaine isn't working, supposedly. She's gunning for Ketamine infusions, isn't she?

All she wants for Christmas is to be tube fed and in a K hole.

I'm very concerned about Ace's baby's wellbeing and safety, too. Her husband is not much better. He also identifies as agender and is in danger of losing his job if he has to constantly leave early to help Ace because she's too high to go to the bathroom on her own. I think he might be the one usually with the handgun, since she tweeted that she had to wait for him to come home before she could show it off. Still a very bad idea for them to have one regardless if she's acting like that. Makes it hard to fully enjoy her as a lolcow.

Which is a shame, because as insufferable as she is, she has some real bangers. Here's her showing off her mask collection while she was drying and customizing them with nosepieces and Communist Leader decals

Ace doesn't trust doctors (especially white ones) during the best of times. Last night she was particularly salty with them for whatever reason. Mostly called them murderers and cops (the latter while concurring with Vicky Markhoff)

Her old one was getting worn and dirty- was she re-wearing it all the time? If she was touching the outside of her mask, taking it off, then rewearing and touching the inside of the mask while adjusting then it ruins any chance of a protective effect, and the evidence for oen is debatable anyway.

I do mask when I'm ill now and going to the drs or pharmacist because I do want to mitigate any risk to them as they are frequently exposed to infectious people- but a new one put on with sanitised hands.
 
Does Jenny ever mention who butchered her for the “failed” decompression surgery? Sounds like someone in Europe, since she’s gearing up for her first US trip, or maybe Australia? What are the chances one of the Spanish docs famous in this thread was involved?

They actually expect people to believe that Doctors are sending patients home in that state and saying, well..I guess you could fundraise and fly to USA on your own dime and see if they can help you.
🤣🤣🤣 Even if the NHS couldn't fix whatever was wrong with her, if she had an actual real-life life-threatening diagnosis, the NHS would pay for her to be med-flighted to the country that can fix it and get it done there.
 
In Down syndrome adults w/ actual AAI, you fuse the C1 and C2 and you're done, problem solved. It isn't a terribly complicated, or even rare procedure from what I understand, just that the nature of the instability is dangerous due to other Down's issues: muscle/ligament laxity, coupled with not being able to understand how NOT to make the injury worse. So why tf couldn't headless jenny get it done in the NHS? Claude says they do about 600 of them a year across the service.

Also, if it were AAI, she'd be pissing and shitting herself with abandon, zero bedpan required. One of the diagnostic hallmarks is incontinence.

They’re both neurodivergent, and I thought someone could only be diagnosed with one or the other.
ASD is just that, a spectrum.
And as a spectrum disorder, it seems like someone could also have features of ADHD while still being autistic.
Same thing with ADHD being a spectrum and having features of ASD while still being ADHD.

Is this a real thing, or more “special labels” stuff?

Her baby only has one mask, as well. Maybe two max. He’s photographed with that dinosaur one a lot. There is no way it’s getting washed daily.

Ace is an oddball for Long Haulers in that regard. Almost all of them stopped using fabric masks years ago. Specific disposables or particle masks with filter cartridges are the norm. Decorating your mask also seems to be weird even in a community where it’s common to festoon your walker with crochet knickknacks. She might as well be chin diapering the way she goes at it.

It's a real thing. Two seperate disorders with different diagnostic criteria, often coexisting. Neirodivergence is unique ways of thinking. Both these conditions cause that, thus being neurodivergent.

You can definitely be diagnosed with both, they’re not mutually exclusive. Lots of autists have poor executive function, ADD is more of an issue for them as adults rather than ADHD.

That said, those who claim AuDHD as their identity quirk seem generally to suffer only from self diagnosisitis and PDs.

I knew guys diagnosed with both in the 2000s. That’s not new in itself. The label is newer, and more women are diagnosed/claiming to have both. In the case of the munchie, AuDHD is another cutesy label that they can plug into their bios.

The women (it's all women) I know who think they are AuDHD and advertise it loudly are all ex manic pixie dream girls who desperately don't want to be in their 40s and suddenly aren't cute/quirky enough to make up for their glaring lack of interpersonal and executive function skills. They're running full-speed away from a PD diagnosis, trying to pretend that they can't build skills rather than that they were never forced to previously. Tiresome.

Anyway, I was right, Katrina/Emmy bleached her hair. This despite supposedly now having CRPS everywhere on her body plus GI issues plus supposedly she can't hit her mouth with a fork at mealtime. I'd say I bet it was hilarious watching her try to bleach her hair, but I'm guessing she made her poor Haitian/Filipina aid do that work for her.

Btw, reminder, she has now lightened it twice. This wasn't a one-off. It showed up lighter earlier this week too, and then she apparently bleached it AGAIN. I hope it all breaks off. Ten bucks says she tries to dye it pink next.
