The job market here is fucked. I quit my last job because of a fucking boomer manager micromanaging, telling me how to do my job despite him knowing nothing about how to do my job and just being a genuine cunt. Didn't want to deal with his bullshit anymore. I now completely understand why Gen z doesn't want to work. Why work for a generation that hates them, that doesn't want to pay them properly or want them to succeed. There is literally no incentive to work because buying a house, traveling, getting married and buying the occasional car or other thing is so out of reach to the vast majority of Gen z. You know it's bad when the youngest generation able to join join the workforce doesn't want to work while the oldest wants to hold on to power and wealth and is reluctant to act their age.

I wonder if OSHA and safety officers are the way they are because they looked at boomers and HOA Karens are thought "Maybe we could be like them." Lord knows that Canuckistan seems to be full of people that will tell everyone around them how to live, at any rate, they were among the most restrictive Coof lockdowns, barring the other anglophone Commonwealth nations. This has been a poorly kept secret for decades at this point. Governments deliberately push funding to their held ridings and make announcements in said ridings as a way of securing vote shares or spitefully punishing opponents (even had the one Liberal MP a couple years back saying to just "vote Liberal" for those complaining about the heating gas carbon tax exemptions). The only break from this is Quebec because it always gets subsidized in totality regardless of whichever party is in power.

The RCMP was easily compromised once their HQ was moved from Ottawa to Montreal, and I wouldn't be surprised if that was Pierre Trudeau's intent in making that completely retarded move.

That's why they are sometimes called the Royal Canadian Mafia Police.

The RCMP shot one of the victims by accident and covered it up and almost everyone does not give a shit. The mother who cooked her daughter alive in Walmart got some tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars from Canadians on gofundme after which she abruptly left back to India and has not returned since.

It's an idea but with how many were, and still are being let in, as the current number is somewhere around 6 million it would be a logistical nightmare to try that. Even if you had all the ovens built, our rail infrastructure wouldn't be able to transport that many people to said ovens. It would take DECADES to build those railways and then ovens. However I do think those would provide lots of jobs and possibly build that $90 billion railway in the same time!

Legally we're allowed to do transactions in US dollars or Euros just you can't force a customer or retailer to not use Canadian dollars

I bought these strawberries for CA$0.61 at a market. They actually smell and taste like strawberries, too. In Canada, produce usually doesn't smell or taste of anything.

The cheapest strawberries I could find at a Loblaws in Toronto cost CA$5 for 454 grams (note: most food retailers will skimp on the weight of food items and act like it's an anomaly instead of the norm). So, it'd be around CA$10 in Canada for the same weight of strawberries that I bought for 61 cents.

Not trying to shit on you for using PC points, it just makes me feel sad that so many people have to rely on these programs to feel like they're not being robbed whenever they purchase anything.

I hate the grocery monopoly.

A couple of cities in BC and fully ditching or downscaling RCMP presence and I can't say I blame them. Somehow the federal police are more incompetent and mismanaged than locally run police. I still like how they investigated themselves and found no wrong doing in the aftermath of the Nova Scotia shooting. The commissioner at that time should be in prison for her corruption and negligence, and it's is extremely obvious they let her walk free because that would mean they acknowledged some form of guilt.
