"Making shit up" does not have an overlapping skillset with staging an assassination like it's The Prestige. The simple explanation for the ear wound is that it was only a minor scrape, but bled a lot because ears are very vascular.

I don't think it was a blood pack. I won't claim to know how they did it, but the wound was real (and very minor). You can see that from some photos. A slight nick. And his initial reaction was authentic, meaning he didn't know it was coming. I mean, if you were going to stage a fake assassination attempt in this way, it would be best to not let the receiver know. Even the anticipation of a balloon pop would cause someone to flinch. Wouldn't surprise me if Jared Kushner and Ivanka were in on it. Eric Trump seemed genuinely concerned when asked about it after the fact

I've seen speculation that the gray thing, rather than being shoe leather, is some kind of highly processed turkey or pre-cooked, pre-sliced 'gyro'/'kebab' meat, which apparently is something that is allowed to be sold in America, presumably a sort of long, less nutritionally complete lunch meat. I have seriously thought that for a while. I'll just come out and say it. I've implied it i posts, and kind of beat around the bush. But idk fuck it. The things I've seen from certain posters seem like the behaviour of someone that is either a paid shill (either a nobody that got an anonymous payment and told to post x thing on y site, or people working for the governement or some kind of organization) or some kind of bot.*

I already know what the obvious response is to that. So I'll try to steel man it. It's something like. Why would they bother doing that on this site of all the places they could spend their time on?

I think that's a valid view. But i think it's worth considering a few things. 1 they do, do this on all the other bigger sites, reddit is one of the worst, twitter also, but to some degree every social media site with this kind of discussion has them. This is the way the population is influenced now, 24 hour news stations don't have the pull they did 15 or 20 years ago.

And I think people can underestimate the influence a site like this can, and does have on modern right wing politics. Even if people aren't directly influenced by this site there is a good chance they do get influenced by someone that is on here indirectly. Much like the 4chan gamergate era actually played a giant role in how politics turned out following that happening.

I think people shouldn't underestimate the power this kind of manipulation can have.

I just want to be clear. I'm not saying this is what all the miggers on this site are. It is a select number of accounts that come off to me this way. And what it seems like they do is super strongly react to any kind of sentiment that goes against what they want pushed. They only stick around in certain threads, and certain boards where there are big events being talked about. They seem to me like they are trying to help steer the general feeling of people. Since we are social animals, even without realizing it we like to stick with the hurd, and if they can help make it seem like anyone who expresses certain ideas will be ostracized, then that reinforces that idea in others who want to fit in.

Tbf basically every time there is a politically motivated mass casualty incident or assassination people online are just conditioned to automatically start claiming it’s a false flag (especially if it reflects negatively on their political side). I think it’s emblematic of a general lack of trust in the regime system especially post-9/11 where it became obvious that the regime was willing to at the very least exploit certain tragedies to achieve its own goals.
