They are a family business so at least that part would be truthful.

He probably ordered way too much at once, because he figured larger volume = higher profit margins. Quantity is what made him successful on youtube. So buying a large amount (in different flavors) at once, plus shipping it to Amazon and/or his own warehouse space. Since he's always lying, he probably spent 200k on coffee (e.g: 40 batches at $4500 each, incl. labeling) and shipping, then wasted the rest of his mortgage and credit card debt on his own leisure.

At the prices he's charging, he'd have to be profitable, unless of course everything from roasting to fulfillment is handled by other companies.

At this point, I hope someone with money to burn ends up taking him to court. All of that video was public information, shilling a book for 3 minutes isn't breaking any rules. He's committing fraud (advertised as roasted in house), trying to cover it up and silence people over PUBLIC info, as well as fucking many people out of a paycheck as content creation is a good deal of the livelihood of his targets.
