It's just a (mostly) standalone implementation of whisper using the ggml tensor library, it supports multiple different models (hence why I was asking which model).
stable-ts looks like some typical over-engineered python clusterfuck using pytorch (so 10000 dependencies that might randomly break or install a cryptominer).

I'm also working on using whisper.cpp to transcribe non-YT videos, starting with Community Notes because it has a manageable amount of episodes.
It's actually working very well and reasonably quick! I just need to let the transcribing finish up and then transform that data into the site's format.

Also, fair warning that I may have to tweak the current video share URL handling in the future because I didn't really think through the initial one, especially if we start introducing multiple platforms. Be careful when sharing Jeralyzer links without enough information to re-find the clip if the link breaks!
