There were 46 donors this cycle, 19 of whom had donated in the last cycle, and 27 of whom are new. The total contribution was $4070, of which $1085 was from California. $520 was from Massachusetts, and the rest was mostly from random individuals (including a few whales who gave several hundred apiece)
Largest donors this time: James Stanley Daugherty (a sci-fi friend of Frank's) who gave $500 at once, followed by Guinevere Hildebrand, a transgender woman who has been giving $100/month since the campaign started.
As far as I can tell, there was precisely one donor who is from District 8: Sara Jones.
As for expenditures, they break down as follows:
Actual Campaigning: 5972.49
Tech Toys: 3554.08
Travel: 2266.82
For a grand total of 11793.39 spent.
I define "campaigning" very generously, as all the ads, campaign software, and everything relating to that "candidate training" event.
"Tech Toys" is all the junk from Amazon and Ikea.
"Travel" is everything relating to the trip to California.
Frank paid out-of-pocket for the video ads and John's "candidate training" stuff in Massachusetts
Note that Frank actually got this wrong and "memo'ed out" the $959.79 of candidate-training stuff twice, so the numbers on the FEC website aren't correct. Feel free to weeen to the FEC about this, but they won't care.
