Lord Frogmire Appreciation Thread - The Better Brother (Formerly Known as Synthetic Man Appreciation Thread) - Might have an account here

His own chat called him out for being a complete faggot, but being the fool that he is, he only took this as an unreasonable personal attack. And since he can't ever admit any fault, he has to be right and everyone else is wrong.
I’m going to theorize a little bit because I’ve noticed it as a pattern with a lot of e-celebrities and YouTubers for a long time. So don’t take everything I say as psychological gospel just some guy theorizing Coby’s overall mindset.

You have to really get into the mind of a YouTuber or an e-celebrity to understand why they do the crazy and insane shit they do. It’s a certain mindset that’s impossible for a lot of people to conceptualize because 1. None of us are big on YouTube and 2. We don’t have to fight so hard to preserve a certain reputation or, most likely in this case, a financial threshold as we go about our business in our day to day lives. We still do, don’t get me wrong, but not to the extreme extent YouTubers believe they have to every day.

YouTube is a volatile source of income. One video might do well, others might bomb. This goes doubly so for careers. One moment you’re making twice as much as a midtier earner and then the next moment, it tanks. Coby has built his entire business on being an authoritative voice in terms of what people should and shouldn’t think about video games he reviews. He may deny it, but that’s just deceptive manipulation to make people think he’s humble… at least that’s what I believe maybe I’m wrong. Or it might be some coping belief in himself. His audience, however, probably believes he’s a seasoned reviewer who knows what he’s talking about and that’s a thin tight rope YouTubers really start to feel when they make YouTube their only source of income.

So when you see YouTube reviewers freak out when their audience gives bad reception to one of their reviews, the easiest option would be to just admit fault, but in the YouTubers mind, probably, they’re probably thinking “oh shit, nobody’s going to take me seriously anymore of if I admit I’m wrong! I’m gonna lose money!” So they sperg out that everyone’s wrong because they have to cling on to their reputation as being an authority and if any confidence wavers, they’ll lose expected monetary income turnouts.

I think that’s why Coby freaked out when his fallout video bombed before. Not so much because his fans are ungrateful, but he got scared that his financial income, his only source of income, might be starting to crash.

I don’t know, what do you guys think? I don’t know Coby so I can’t comment on his personal mindset, but it’s a pattern I’ve noticed in a lot of YouTubers and I’ve theorized about it.

Yep, that’s a solid reason for his sprenging. Even back in the old days — when he was more humble — he still felt the need to justify his mistakes instead of fully owning up to them.

I think the whole Kirsche Gate — where he went from mocking Kirsche, to white-knighting for her, then coping when she ghosted him — made him realize he shouldn’t ever apologize or back down over anything. That incident really made him paranoid about everyone, which is why he’s so defensive and tends to view others through a negative lens.

There's a certain kind of depressed person who will just crash the fuck out whenever anyone criticizes them for any reason at all. 9 times out of 10 this person will drone on endlessly about their "horrible" and "narcissistic" parents, but when you finally meet the parents in question they're just totally normal, and the person in question only hates them because they criticize him for his poor life decisions.

"RAAAAAA YOU PUT BLUSHES ON ME IN A THUMBNAIL PEOPLE ARE GONNA THINK I'M A PEDO THE INTERNET IS SERIOUS BUSINESS GUIIIISEEE"

If Coby Goldstein actually strike memory runner (who is biggest pro synth clipper), oh boy, summer of love time🤣

What the fuck is his problem?
  • He's the one keeping the loliniggers in his chat and playing into it.
  • He played Blue Archive, on and off-stream.
  • He had an entire tangent in a video about it.
  • He polled his chat about it.
And now he's mad that Memory Runner is playing off his chat's behavior (and Coby's contribution to it). You painted that image of yourself, Futaman. Either change it or own up to it. If Memory Runner changes the thumbnail he's officially the top fag.

I thought the thumbnail was funny.
Synth needs to stop listening to his schizo Discord fanboys. A guy who writes you an entire essay about who might be a hater with a bunch of screenshots (real or not) should be blocked the second you get the mail.

This nigga sperging about husky and calling him a BBC lover is the cherry on top, as if getting his socks off to tranny porn is a flex. Stop being an autistic sperg Coby, you're the one drinking the koolaid, if people on the internet hates you is because you asked for it.
He dated a black girl in high school and likes futa. I don’t think he should be accusing anyone else of liking BBC with those implications.

What a miserable asswipe. It genuinely kind of unnerves me that most of the current crop of Synthcels appear to be teenagers.

This is not a man you want influencing your thought process in your formative years.

I thought his audience was late 20's early 30's gas station employees
