Will it? There were an awful lot of things wrong with the third series of Broadchurch, but Chris Chibnall's beyond-creepy obsession with Beth Latimer (played by Jodie Whittaker) was very much one of them. Him writing Beth Latimer's stalking, harassing and bullying of a rape victim as something to celebrate rather than to be condemned and punished was distressing and despicable.
Nothing against Whittaker, who's a talented and hard working actor, but Chibnall is yet another of those 'all men are rapists except me of course' guys this site is full of.

Ethnic Bond would work, especially if they went for Idris Elba. There are Klansmen who are 1000% heterosexual who moisten their underwear at Idris Elba. Female Bond is a ridiculous idea; Bond is a ladies' man. For the Bond films, women work best as damsels in distress and femme fatales and sidekicks.
