Iran Crisis & the 2026 War between Iran and the United States, Gulf States, and Israel - Please focus on news and coverage, not argumentation.

when did we stop naming ships off dead presidents and start naming them after ones living? the week shore leave for the Gerald Ford is going to make them motivated to spend another 6 months at sea after being extend 5 months at sea, God bless israel, after all Israel needs goy fodder, and god is using America to continue the plan! Trust the plan Q
I don't believe you've ever been in the military if you think blowing shit up is bad for morale.

That, or you were an insufferable little sea lawyer.

and it starts with a lady talking then it cuts to the 2 "experts" who will be joining her, and whoa buddy is it an amazing representation of modern day britian

THIS IS WHO YOU PUT ON TELEVISION? WHERE PEOPLE CAN SEE YOU?

BTW are we going to talk about how crazy it is that Iran SEIZED as it TOOK 2 FUCKING tankers today?

Somalia proved men in a row boat can capture tankers. Its not crazy that they can do it. Its crazy that they think they can get away with it. Eventually the ceasefire is going to run out.

Among those that have exited is the Dorena, an Iranian-flagged supertanker that navigated past the US blockade with its transponder — the device that signals its location and identity — turned off.

According to Vortexa, the sanctioned vessel was one of two laden tankers that left Iranian waters on April 17, with two more crude oil tankers having sailed past on April 20.
...
Several sanctioned tankers have meanwhile entered the Gulf from the Gulf of Oman, including the vessels Murlikishan and Alicia, which were sanctioned by the US last year.

Both vessels travelled through the strait on the night of April 14 before sailing up to the northern end of the Gulf.

Hard to tell what is really true right now of course but there reports contradicting this. (NYT Article, Archive):
Navy destroyers also escorted at least two Iranian tankers, the Dorena and Sevin, that had left from the Iranian port of Chabahar before the blockade began on April 13., a U.S. military official said.

I'm assuming these, along with the Tifani which was boarded, are the 3 reportedly interdicted in the Vortexa link (which seems to have been very recently updated with this info):
6 dark outbound transits were carrying 10.7mn barrels of Iranian crude (April 13 - April 21), as of April 22, 3 have reportedly been interdicted by the US

Eventually the ceasefire is going to run out.
Trump is suddenly extending the ceasefire out of nowhere with no further concessions from Iran when it was about to end, you really think he's just doing it out of his good heart or he just doesn't want the war to go hot again.

That's not the crazy part, its that the most powerful navy in the world had to just stand there and watch as Iran continued playing pirate, seemingly not giving a fuck about the risk of breaking the ceasefire, Iran is less scared of violating it than the United States.

The ship they "seized" was a ship parked in their own port, which had evaded sanctions pre-war to drop off needed goods to Iran.
It's owned by fucking India lol.

Gerald Ford has been dead for twenty years. The carrier named after him has been dead for a month. We've only been told the truth about one of those.

im genuinely curious what they want us to believe was the fuel within these pictures to destroy 600 berthing and over 1000 mattresses

so their story is a lint trap got fire and then what? just started blowing up washing machines?

the fire would have had to be so powerful and fueled it made its way out of the room and down hallways, all without any fire suppression or even just simply sealing off the areas

just on a purely logical level the level of spread dosent add up to a "laundry room fire" people would have had to leave trails of clothes to burn from the laundry room to their berthing, its all just so ridiculous even as I say it.

200 sailors had to be treated for smoke inhalation, what was the fuel for this massive fuck off fire?

Haven't you heard?, Ukraine is our friend now as they've been assisting us on drone tech for this war.
Funny you should mention that:
ukraine PSAB.png

It would be interesting to see what kind of systems they're being trained on. The US being asleep at the wheel on counter-drones the last decade-plus (remember, all this shit really started becoming a battlefield feature when ISIS began its initial rampage) appears to be largely a function of bureaucratic ennui, or MIC companies not being able to find a sweet spot between functional and overpriced.

Which is pretty ridiculous considering we have a whole generation of twentysomethings who have been using dual-stick controllers their whole lives, who'd have loved to use stand-off and OWA drones to paste bad guys. If they're providing the troops at PSAB with anything like what they've been using in Europe this year, the IRGC and Basij are going to be in for a bad time if things get hot again.

Smoke damage, Stud. The fire didn't incinerate a thousand mattresses, smoke damage made them and the crew quarters unusable.
