Quintheo isn't their friend either. When they were working for Jason, Quint was making their job harder digging up dirt and creating drama they need to sweep up. To them, he is part of the reason why they are out of the job now. So I can understand why they would tell him to fuck off when he is trying to get gossip out of them. He isn't helping them, he just wants content.
