Not to mention the lulzworthy general presentation of "This was essential to tap into the Brazilian market". But he just has to twist this into some kind of digital white knight scenario, a champion for the people of brazil who only know salvaged scrap from the late 90's.
Yes, to make a narrative game when he fully and clearly admits he sucks at it and takes fucking forever to do anything in the space. Mald apparently apologized (but Quintheo does not mention the mealy mouthed qualifier after the apology).
He then goes all in on Tectone who I have no love for but Quintheo obviously also does not like so uses most of the video to do some Mald'ing of his own about Tec.
He acts like Pirates release of a couple documents and saying words about health coverage is proof positive that its all true. This is despite Mald provably lying about something in every other sentence for literally years now.

Tectone lies more than Pirate does, so you can't really fault Quintheo here.
I'd already watched Tectone's full video and it's worse than the clips Quintheo uses. Tectone had no idea that the mods were paid at all and had to be told repeatedly by his chat, he refused to believe it, argued with them and then ultimately settled with "There's no way they're getting paid 60k a year" despite nobody fucking claiming that. He just refused to accept he was wrong.
It's always been my belief that Pirate was given a small token amount to some poor third worlders who thought $100 a month was life changing money but Tectone is too retarded to understand that and just assumed "a full time wage" automatically meant $60k+ a year to some Americans. So not only American, but also average from top 5 city/states level.
Basically Tectone gave Pirate an easy win where he didn't even need to lie about it, which just makes it reason #9228 I hate Tectone.

Here's why not paying mods didn't "sit right with him":
Power. All of the paid mods were under NDA, and I bet that is a likely illegally scoped one that includes commentary about anything that happened when they worked there. And he's dangling the extended benefits as a way to keep his knee on the neck.
It's like that illuminaughti chick that was getting all her employees and boyfriend at the time to be dependent on her with assets she could rip out from under them as soon as they got mildly out of line of what she wanted.
