Political revisionists love to hark on the Republican spergout about Obamas tan suit. As someone who was watching politics at the time, its way more nuanced than ‘OMG Obamas wearing tan heckin’ suit’.

On August 9th Michael Brown, the gentle giant, died after chimping out at Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson. This was in the pre-body cam days so information took some time to release. The first major chimp out occurred from August 10th to 25th where they burned and looted the town because they were just so outraged. In 2026 we’re used to this nonsense from the summer of love in 2020, but this was 2014. This was all new.

Then-attornery general, Eric holder went down on August 20th. Browns funeral was on August 25th. Obama wore the tan suit on August 28th 2014. Obama was signaling and inserting himself as a kind of moral/racial authority figure on Ferguson before the facts were established. It was an endorsement of their behavior because this was a ‘true and honest’ civil rights crusade. The tan suit, associated with the back Southern preacher aesthetic, signaled to the nation that Obama was about to play that role again because Brown was a victim who dindu nuffin.

Obama already had issues of prejudging outcomes and making tensions worse because he primed the public for an outcome that would never come. Obama had previously been criticized for saying “if I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon” during the Zimmerman case, before the investigation ended and before Zimmerman’s acquittal. Obama would always align with victims regardless of their suspected guilt.

Its the optics of how he presented himself that carried weight beyond the suit itself.
Republicans were tapdancing around explicitly calling this out because this was two years after Romney and the party was more filled cucks than it is now and was buck broken.

We can have tariffs, it is just that this hyper-specific one can't be used by the President.

Although that means that the tariffs already in place under that hyper-specific one are staying in place, and now cannot be negotiated lower or removed by Trump. So all the lobbying by industry fucked themselves.

On top of that in the SC's decision writing, they informed Trump that ACTUALLY, he had more tariff power than that hyper-specific one. And, in fact, can control ALL-TRADE to and from nations and impose BLANKET trade tariffs. Trump even admitted he didn't know he had all that power and had already used it. Most currently with the Iran blockade, anyone caught assisting them with military aid / or aid we don't like, gets an increased blanket tariff of 50%

It's really difficult to think of anything she did right. Even in her speeches with Trump or in front of congress she came off as nervous and bitter. Kash will sit there and cuss out the dems, so bravo on that. Bondi is easily and by far the worst of Trumps picks this term.

  • Talked/tweeted in support of hate speech laws,
  • Lagging on prosecuting Antifa,
  • Wanting to be a news personality more than arresting enemies,
  • The MASSIVE fumble of the Comey case getting him off scot-free,
  • Refused to go after government officials on the left for breaking the law. Omar (immigration fraud), insider trading, Tim Walz, Obama admin for spying on Trump, etc...
  • Didn't go after Election fraud enough.

She did some good things, (protecting ICE agents) but with the constant issues with her and the refusal to do the hard/dangerous work that is required to make permanent or significant changes that Trump/Vance need for their agenda, it is better to find a man more suited to the task and is more than ok with not being liked by the left.

Kash has his moments of clarity, but Bondi was the real problem. She spent more of her time bloviating on Fox News rather than doing her fuckin' job. I can at least agree with you on that.

And BONDI DID THE SPLC BUST, the DoJ didn't just whip this case up in the last couple of weeks, something you'd have to address if you read anything I said and didn't just vomit out Left Wing talking points digested through a gay Latino cat boy

I will agree, Bondi was a very bad spokesperson, but that doesn't mean the things she was doing in the DoJ were bad. In fact we are just now seeing some of the fruits, and the SPLC is huge and that's 100% on her with Patel and their departments. But she'll only ever get scorn because those that she was harming with that investigation, and probably more that are still coming, put a whole bunch of shit into the niggercattle trough trying to stop her, and a lot of those celebrating this win gleefully helped to try and prevent it, and they will never acknowledge it.

I'm not familiar with that and I would relate to you on that point. That's not what you, or others have been attacking her for the last 14 months have been saying. The Zimmerman case is fucked up, that doesn't make the SPLC one a fuck up.

In my mind, it supports my point that the outrage over her is manufactured, when you sperg out over talking points from the traitors she's dismantling, rather than your own obviously strongly felt legitimate gripes with her.
