Have the specific weapons/pictures of them been released yet? I'm really curious what he had since he's from California. Procuring a shotgun en route probably wouldn't be too hard and most shotguns are CA compliant anyways but handguns can be tricky to get a hold of. I guess he could have just bought a CA compliant handgun and picked up a high capacity magazine along the way. But based on his complete lack of being in touch with reality I wouldn't be surprised if he thought he could rush in with 7 rounds of buckshot and 10 rounds of 9mm and take down the leadership of the free world

buckshot will not spread outside the body size of a normal man within the space of a building, and will almost certainly not penetrate through the body completely. A slug will travel through the body and exit unless it strikes a major bone.

I think even reddit may have heard that the "less penetration with buckshot" myth has long been deboonked because buckshot is just multiple 9mm projectiles flying close to 9mm speeds, and zero controlled expansion mechanics. Can't even get his planning right.

At the ranges in question it'll be a pretty confined cone unless he's got a rifled choke or rifled barrel.

Like, I expected security cameras at every bend, bugged hotel rooms, armed agents every 10 feet, metal detectors out the wazoo.

What I got (who knows, maybe they’re pranking me!) is nothing.

No damn security.

Not in transport.

Not in the hotel.

Not in the event.

Like, the one thing that I immediately noticed walking into the hotel is the sense of arrogance.

I walk in with multiple weapons and not a single person there considers the possibility that I could be a threat.

The security at the event is all outside, focused on protestors and current arrivals, because apparently no one thought about what happens if someone checks in the day before.

Like, this level of incompetence is insane, and I very sincerely hope it’s corrected by the time this country gets actually competent leadership again.

Like, if I was an Iranian agent, instead of an American citizen, I could have brought a damn Ma Deuce in here and no one would have noticed shit.

Remember that a lot of the leftists finishing high school in 2009-2011 then went to college and entered politics. There were people who were in college when Occupy Wall Street happened and entered politics from there. There were definitely more left-learning people entering politics by 2016.

If he wanted to actually be effective at his retarded suicide mission he should have gone for slugs and not cared about collateral damage because he would not have the time to be choosy before getting gunned down. With slugs the overpenetration might have helped him accidentally hit one of his targets in the chaos. Good thing he's not very smart.
 
Having read the assassin's manifesto, it seems clear to me that he was at one point a semi-normal person, who, left to their own devices, probably wouldn't have done anything like this at all. So we can chalk up yet another attempted assassination to bullshit made up by the TDS-addled MSM.

Honestly, Trump should revoke presidential access from all the outlets that gave this guy the ideas he used to justify this act to himself. Until there's consequences for lying, the shitlibs in the media will continue doing so, simply to get a certain percentage of the population riled up enough to do shit like this.
