I disagree that America will capitulate to Iran soon mainly because both groups are still stuck in this awkward phase of ping-ponging deals to each other to see who will faulter first. I don't doubt it will happen, but it is definitely not going to happen soon.
You're totally right. On paper, and based soberly in reality, there is no way Iran could outlast the USA in a stand-off. But victory may be a hollow one with the price being a strait damaged for use for such a long period of time that the glory of no uranium in Iran would be forgotten quickly and replaced with protests globally over the ensuing energy crisis.
