Old men fall apart psychologically and physically when their wife dies, where women tend to pick up and move on with their lives because they were functional adults to being with.
But when it comes to breakups when you're young, I think women who are broken up with tend to actually love and care for a guy and that actually hurts, but a man being broken up with sees it as a huge blow to the ego that he lost control and that a woman had some control over the relationship, so in that sense again perhaps they feel the pain more intensely because they're not losing someone they love, they're losing their entire sense of superiority and power and what they define as their masculinity. As they say, "we don't think the same".

In which case I'd say it's a different sort of hurt, and not at all a stronger hurt necessarily. The women lose the guy they love, which hurts like hell. And the guys get a dented ego, which to them probably hurts more, in their opinion. Making it into a competition of who's smarting harder is dumb imho, but if it's a bruised ego the guys are suffering from rather than missing who they broke up with, they can just fuck the hell off imho because that just makes them a shitty person.

The biology aspect given by this moid baffles me though; if women didn't go ahead to find a man after the dead one back in the past, it generally ended up being a fucking death sentence since women were far more dependent.

I've seen many examples in current year where the wife dies and the men instantly move on to a new woman within the year. Or they break up with the chick and have a new bitch within months. So the moid posting is a complete retard in my opinion.
 
I think it's getting more and more difficult to find new supply for moidos hence the newer levels of despair regarding even their hypotheticals. When my mom was actively dying my step-dad made a big deal about how he could suddenly feed himself shit on a shingle instead of making her do it. We all knew he'd find someone else before long. He only had months between his first project and my mom being his new sick pet. And he took all her money too. :tomgirl:

All I'm saying is, a narcissistic collapse is a different beast to a normal person's heartbreak. They're emotionally dysregulated and terrible ego-driven people who only care about themselves; losing your identity and having your sense of self crushed by someone you consider inferior feels like world-ending despair, where losing a love usually feels like a new chapter you're able to get over within a reasonable period. So within a retarded moid's worldview, it makes sense that they think they hurt more.
 
Not sure where that stereotype comes from, men are notorious for moving on to their next emotional support female as soon as they lose the previous one. If they don’t, it’s usually because their options are scarce or they chose to work through difficult emotions using some other coping mechanism (alcoholism, onlyfans, online redpill circlejerks, etc). It’s rare for a member of the Gender of Accountability and Rationalism to process their feelings in a healthy way, do an honest assessment of where they may have contributed to the demise of a relationship, and walk away with enough growth to do better next time.

I know someone who was married less than a year after his wife died of cancer. To a degree I understand that trauma fueled his bad decisions, but his selfishness was jarring. Zero mourning period for the woman he supposedly loved for half of his life; as soon as the casket was closed it was like she never existed. Tossed all photos and memories of them together into a storage bin and left it in a shed at his mother’s house to get waterlogged and ruined. He forced his 2 young daughters to move in with a new replacement mom and 4 stepbrothers when the loss was still fresh. Aside from it potentially being really dangerous to have two girls under 10 live in close proximity to strange boys, it also led to him neglecting them when they needed him the most.

Luckily his late wife’s side of the family was deeply involved in their lives and made up for their emotionally retarded deadbeat sperm donor, but I hate to think how they could’ve turned out otherwise. Heaven fucking forbid a moid ever have to sit with his feelings and endure a second of being sad, even for the sake of his own children.

I think venting about women is completely fine, and having a woman hate thread is justified if we have a man hating thread. Women can be petty bitches that can ruin your life if they want to. And of course they are also capable of appalling crimes that might fly under the radar more easily.
What I find interesting though, is the difference in what's being vented about for men hating on women vs women hating on men. Women tend to vent about men being an actual detriment to their life (bad relationships with e.g. gaslighting or abuse, rapeapes/murder, getting a crazy stalker, tons of men being mysoginistic and resulting difficulty in e.g. jobs/career/life, basically the whole history of mankind). Men vent about not getting pussy, women being "dumb" and yet women still somehow manage tricking them (... to buy them a drink or whatever).
There's a profound difference in the average vent presented. I think by all means women truly deserve to rant about men.

Same shit happened to a family friend. She was dying for months of cancer. We told her to put everything in trust for her young, elementary aged kids’ education. Of course, he couldn’t be that irresponsible.

A girlfriend, truck, four wheeler, motorcycle, and a truck later—there ain’t shit left for his crappy lifestyle and his children. I wouldn’t be surprised if he wasn’t browsing the dealerships the same week she was buried.
