Well, Nicki Minaj is married to a sex offender, Antonio Brown has been charged with attempted murder, Ye has been off his meds for years, and Caitlyn Jenner is guilty of both vehicular manslaughter and being connected to the Kardashians (and that's not even getting into Jenner being transgender, which shouldn't be that much of a problem but clearly is to some people). So yeah, the pickings are slim.

Edit: I just remembered that AB, Ye, and Jenner all have threads here. I wonder when Nicki Minaj and Kid Rock will get their own.

If the commemorative passport is anything like commemorative coins, they'll charge the applicant a hefty premium. (Never mind, Politico says the cost will be the same. So the taxpayer eats the cost of creating a variant.) Will these passports actually be used, or will they, like commemorative coins, get tucked into a folder and forgotten? I imagine a lot of people will report it lost and get a regular passport if they need to travel.

What Trump is doing really is unprecedented. Even a shitstain caudillo like Rafael Trujillo at least focused on the well being of some of the people in the Dominican Republic. Stalin said the quote “ You're not Stalin and I'm not Stalin. Stalin is Soviet power. Stalin is what he is in the newspapers and the portraits.” North Korea just has monuments for their passport. This might be the most egotistical person we’ve ever had to deal with.

Its a wonder Kid Rock doesnt all ready have a thread. The guy went full lolcow during Covid, injecting himself into Nashville politics and being an all around ass. His complaining about the loss of business to his faux honkytonk was never ending.
Much of this wasnt noticed by the rest of the country, but locally, the man was/is a major annoyance.

This is why comparisons to African dictators are much closer to the mark, especially the egomaniacs like Idi Amin.

I also doubt that Trump will ever inspire great literature, nothing on the level of Mr. President or The Feast of the Goat. He and the people around him just don't have enough of an inner world to produce a compelling narrative.

Although, there is a scene in Mr. President where people in a bar compete with each other to see who can be most fervent in his praise of Mr. President which does remind me of IRL Trump worship. Maybe a comedy about miggers? Too bad our literati are all cartoons themselves.
