Is this shocking?

The fundamental base of Vtubing is convincing the audience of the Mask/Persona, which includes selling certain aesthetics. The fact that you have people who are only a part of it by name, protected by the disconnect provided through the Internet, shouldn't be that surprising.

It'd be like e-Conservatives being shocked that people like Elijah Shafer, TheQuartering, and Nick Fuentes are Trad Larpers.

Honestly, out of all this I'm more bummed learning that my taxes are going to funding the turd world in the production of creepy loli porn. Truly I have become Nick, age 30.
