Public image is everything, having an Indian police force and military screams Third World.

The police already have a bad reputation with the general public, making them Indian is only going to make that worse, same for the military.

Speaking of Rush, fucking hated how my local rock station barely mentioned Neil Peart's passing while they spent an entire week playing nothing but The Tragically Hip after Gord Downie died. They justifiably got shit on by the community for both occasions. The Hip being "Canada's band" is bullshit when Rush is the best selling rock band to come out of this shithole country.

Yeah that's something I think most Canadians forget. Even if 90% of people in Canada supported a Jeet military, it looks very bad to the rest of the world. Canada already has a pretty bad preparation to those who pay attention to it, even with many left wingers (the Canadian libs are the boomer party, just like the UK Tories are for example).
