@nena 's idiosyncratic typing style reminded me of someone, and it finally came to me - "Faye Kane's" now-inactive blog had a regular commenter who went by
jim or Tinman and expressed themselves in a similarly odd way.
In addition to commenting on her blog, this person maintained a longstanding email correspondence with "Faye" and considered her to be a friend.
Now they would like to convince the world that "Faye Kane" and Kathy Collins are not the same person, presumably so weens will stop bothering their friend, but their posts are stupid and their reasons do not make sense.
If
@nena's theory were true, that would be extraordinary. As per citation-dense posts upthread, verifiable real-life associates of Kathy Collins have online footprints dating back to Usenet that interacted heavily with "Faye Kane's" for many years.
This would suggest either (1) that
@nena 's hypothetical wily troll even managed to deceive real people who knew and lived with the real Kathy Collins into believing that "Faye Kane" was Kathy Collins' creation, or (2) that the hypothetical wily troll maintained extremely mundane fake accounts impersonating real associates of the real Kathy Collins for close to a decade before inventing the "Faye Kane" persona and beginning to impersonate the real Kathy Collins as well.
But extraordinary claims demand extraordinary evidence,
@nena offers none, and this thread only becomes stupider.
