With all do respect. Look I know Radywolf/Fuziawa. Well to a point. I have interacted with them some. Yes some people copied their characters. DIRECT COPIES. Yes they were mad about this. Kemono chibi dragons however have been a thing in the japanese community for ages. VERY COMMON! I can even bring up the pixiv tag called fur dragons if you'd like to see. It's very common in our community! The western community only ever hears half of the story because of not understanding Japanese. Yes I know Japanese fully.Yes I am Japanese and no I do not live in Japan. However that does not take away the fact I understand the language.
WHILE I agree some people have copied certain aspects. Most people are complaing over the pettiest of things. Harasssing a lot of users who do not deserve it. I used to talk to fuzisawa and radywolf.
The one thing they have stated is: They were only upset that people made direct copies of laki/rufen.
Like luria on FA copied laki exactly. They wern't bothered by anything else. Just lurias suit. ALSO for the record. Luria's friend is the one who sexually assulted her. There is a lot of drama around this AND proof. It is out there but I guess it'd be hard to find for westerners because they don't understand japanese but it was very well talked about in our community.
They left again not because people copied their art. It was because they did have a post on tumblr saying this in japanese but It baiscally stated: '' I am sorry for all the trouble I have caused throughout my time in the community. I never met to hurt people and I am trying to better myself. I have been doing some what better. I realize that I have said and done things about my art and characters I should not have. I realize that my style is unique but that does not mean people can not draw kemono. I am sorry.'' It goes on to tell more of why they are leaving the fandom. Mostly because they want to move forward with their life.
So yeah...
As for Rady. Rady stated this multiple times but doesn't actually care that people were making characters with ears off to the side. They admitted on twitter as of sort of recent. It was back in 2016 that they were emotional and understood old rufen was not very unique and was going to work harder at making them more unique. SO really you guys are seriously reaching at this point.
Also while most of us are polite. Their is many Japanese who are not. Take my word for it. I'm not. It happens. Everyone is different. Please don't stereotype our culture.
