It doesn't qualify as slander. It also isn't illegal to post public information and no one is telling anyone to call. Her legal stance would be very difficult since she would need to sue specific people within this thread, so there is no threat of it being shut down. AL would rather spend her money on chokers, junk food, and other useless stuff than hire a lawyer anyway.

I agree that posting her number is kind of shitty. At the same time, I don't care enough about Amber to message @Null to take it down (and doubt he would, anyway); but if you do, take it up with him.

However, there is no slander involved here (or even libel). Amber posts content to YouTube and Younow and on social media, and we comment on it. She posts a lot of very personal information, and if she was at all concerned about what potential employers might think, she would do things very differently. Whether she fully inteds to or not, she presents herself as a lazy, unintelligent, uneducated, animal-neglecting food addict who routinely lies, uses other people, and has poor hygiene and all of the impulse control of a toddler--and we just comment on it.

And it wasn't because of our commentary that Amber lost her last job--she didn't want to work, and was too fat to physically handle even a desk job. She wants to sit at home all day and eat, and not be told what to do, and make as much money as she can by expending as little effort as possible. She doesn't give a shit about what employers think because she doesn't want to be employed at all.

As for taking anything to court--haha, yeah, right.

I don't think home addresses and phone numbers should be posted. It's creepy and unnecessary. I realize that it's public information, and anyone can find it, but why make it easier for lazy idiots who think it's amusing to abuse the information by, idk, ordering pizza delivery to her house (which happened) or showing up there. That said, I did appreciate the street view/Google Earth-type pictures of her "townhouse." I just wouldn't have put the specific address out there.

This does not surprise me. It's sad and horrifying that her issues have created the 500+ lb compulsive liar we know today. It's just...sad, that's the best word for it. How do Amber's parents perceive Amber's weight? Did they understand she was obese as a child?

And how did Amber's attitude towards you, @Interventionist, change when her mom moved in with you? Any insight on the family dynamic that you can provide would be helpful in understanding both your point of view and who Amber really is behind the facade.

I think that a lot of you don't understand where you are. We try, in Beauty Parlour, to maintain a kind of separate space for you guys, away from the rest of the site, and we will continue to do so. But this is Kiwi Farms. If a cow has information out in the public domain, it's fair game here. There are members of this site who spend most of their time doxxing the people we talk about. These people are widely admired for being good at finding dox. That's Kiwi Farms culture.

I think it's funny that so many people are protecting AL's "right to privacy" regarding her phone number when AL wouldn't even do the same for a good friend of hers. Think of all the people who have expressed, on video, to AL that they don't want to be included in her vlogs, yet she included them anyway. Even the poor woman who asked AL and Destiny to babysit her kid had the majority of her house shown to the internet in a vlog. AL overshared, if anything it deserves to stay because this is one of the few times she's oversharing her information instead of some innocent bystander's.
