Has anyone here ever flirted with the idea that maybe Russell somehow has erotomania or had it any stage of his life in the past?
His obsession with super attractive women (and I don't mean celebrities alone, I'm talking about the sex workers, strippers, and other such women he's harrassed or attempted to in the past) could possibly stem from some incident in his past where he thought some poor girl being nice to him meant that she wanted him.
Me, and a few others here, believe is is reliving the childhood trauma of being rejected by his bio-mom (and indirectly, bio sister). So he subconsciously picks girls that it would be impossible for him to get, and who will reject him, hoping this time to overcome the rejection that happened so early. If he picked a girl on his level, she might say yes, and he's not really looking for love and happiness, but to psychologically fix old wounds. Of course, these beauties always say no, he lives that rejection again, and gets to express anger about it without actually being angry at his mom. The person he is, indeed, furious at.
The funny thing about this (common) psychological setup is it won't work. Even if Taylor Swift had gone out with him, and married him, at some point there would be an argument or disagreement that would bring all Russ's feelings of rejection back.
The only way to solve this is to get help and understand why he keeps creating the same scenario in his life: hits on woman, is rejected, gets angry. Rinse, lather, repeat. He will never be happy without a deep dive into his self, and a lot of us, ok most of us, believe he's incapable. He's too damaged and he will continue on until some woman accidentally walks into his path and his anger takes over and she pays the price, or he becomes a nasty, bitter old man living on the government dole still screeching at models online.
