Knock-off Yandere Sim clones are hitting steam faster then the actual Yandere Sim game is.

Rate me dumb if you like, but could that make Yandere Sim a clone of Yandere School, which is getting published first?
If it gets traction, maybe.

People don't call Overwatch a TF2 clone, even if it is, yet they do bring up "clone" calling when talking about Paladins, which was playable first and pretty much developed side-by-side.

It all depends on which fanbase is bigger, and I strongly doubt this niche market will grow big enough either way to throw shit at each other.

i noticed this in one of his blog posts

Ah yes, comes Alex with the lowkey mob mentality manipulation.

"haha cool drawing there, reminds me of this unrelated artist i like. [links to artist] Boy i sure wish they would draw Ayano for me and i'm sure none of my fans will spam their mailbox asking for it."

TheOneLoser's username is so fitting. Holy shit these people are pathetic! XD

Tl;dr: Eva's changing the design of the game to do away from scripted events to naturally occurring ones. Instead of events happening as the game dictates with no deviation, events instead happen in response to your choices.

That's actually a really good idea and makes the game a lot more interesting and replayable than before. I can't help but wonder, though, that if it took three years of developing Yansim for him to understand good game design on some level, how long will it take for him to actually finish the game? Considering his work schedule, and considering organic design is a lot harder to implement, I'm not sure if my earlier predictions of it taking another decade are so hyperbolic any more.

I see that he's still stretching to hit the 10min mark. Good going Alex

Some other notes I've taken on the video:
-Osana's new 'hip-swaying' animation is looking pretty off to me. I'm not sure why, but it looks weird to me.
-The idea of Osana looking for her phone is actually quite good. To add onto it, you could have Yandere-chan give the phone back to her, earning reputation points (e.g "I found this near the locker room. Is this yours?" "Oh, yeah! Thank you so much!").
-The Thursday(?) event with the book could be slightly improved. Instead of getting her to stretch, someone could ask her to do something quickly, and she'd run off to do it, leaving the book behind. Makes it a bit more realistic than walking to 4 different places to streatch
-The last comment about taking 'extra time' and 'extra care' into putting her in is bullshit.
