Phil only played UST2 today. Why is that important? Because Phil promised that he would return to Dangan Ronpa 2 this week and never did.

Has anyone ever tried to figure out how much Phil makes a year? Is it middle class money for an American?

I work with many Americans and they seem to have at least one home, many have multiple properties like for investment capital, but they are also engineers which I assume make more money than the average American (they also travel internationally for work assignment so they must make more money than typical American engineers).

I don't want to assume he is rich by having two properties because I know in the US, its very easy to get loans and the cost of housing in the US is very cheap compared to most countries.

When I think about it, the cost of living in the US is generally really good outside of the very expensive cities like San Francisco and New York yes? Every time I must come to the US for work, I am amazed how cheap gasoline and food is compared to what I am used to.

We collectively figured out that he makes about 50-60K per year as of last year under his Machinima partnership. At his peak he was probably making somewhere around 150K.

Right now it's anyone's guess. He makes somewhere around 1-3K per month in Twitch subs/donations/bits. His "Paytrean" is a little under a grand right now. His YT earnings are a big question mark. Ever since the Adpocalypse, YT changing the algorithm favoring videos where users watch the entire video (as opposed to a minute or two, to counter clickbait), and him no longer having the protection Machinima offered him.

He might not be making anything off YT now. He might still be pulling in 1-2K per month. Who knows?

Yup, drive 45 minutes away from any major city and the prices are usually (not always, but usually) lower. The general area is usually nicer too.

But sometimes entire states are expensive, usually coastal ones. Middle states ("flyover" country) states are dirt cheap compared to coastal states, which is why a lot of people have pointed out that a smart move for Phil would've been to move to a state like Nebraska or Ohio where his income could have let him live really well. And he barely leaves the house as is, so he could choose to live in Bumblefuck, South Dakota and it wouldn't make a real difference in his daily life. But, as always, his ego simply will not let him live anywhere else.

$150 thousand US?!?!

I cannot put that into terms I understand. I have multiple engineering degrees and work on mega projects and do not make over $150K unless I do 13 on, one off scheduling and max hours at 16 a day.

I now get why Phil is angry at YouTube. So now he makes like $60K? That is still infuriating to me because he makes more than PhD holders I know to make videos of him screaming like child playing games.

This is same clown that bitched we minorities take his place at university. In most countries, he would not survive, let alone make this much money. He is luckiest bastard I know of.

It may just be a rough figure, but that's one of the most infuriating things about him. He had so many opportunities, and yet he somehow managed to piss them away so badly that he's begging children to give him all their money every month...and yet he's still better off than a lot of people.

I assume Phil makes between $90k-and $110k a year. I’m using every source of funding at his disposal, mind you. Phil is not rich, he is upper middle class(like myself). I don’t consider myself rich. I consider myself a person with more disposable income to save, pay for my living, and travel. Owning property does show diversification of wealth, but that all depends on 1)where one owns said property(New York, West Virginia, etc.) 2)what kind of property it is(business, residential, etc.)

As for the cost of living, this depends on where one lives—always. Income made in San Fransisco is high because the standards of living(rent, food, and travel) is equally high. So, Phil’s standards of living go along with where he lives, his income, and any debt-to-income ratios affecting his take home pay. Gasoline, as per your definition is cheaper in some cities, but again, this is all dependent on that city. Gas in Charlotte, NC is cheaper than in Watertown, MA. Why? It all depends on the income(wealth) of that city and population.

So, he makes $150K a year, but eats frozen grocery store garbage, doesn't have any luxuries beyond vidya, plants and paintings he had before and routinely begs children for money. He's like Smaug, where he's just hoarding money instead of spending it.

At his highest point, he probably pulled in about 120K a year. Now, he probably has more debt/bills than his reduced salary can manage. I think he makes around 80k a year, but even this is enough money to offset debt and take on lower monthly bills. Phil is lying about his debts

I can say quite comfortably, that his yearly income last year was around 75k, not including tips or subs from Twitch. He is making far less than that this year, but the additional twitch income will probably net him around the same as last year. It is speculated that the Patreon goal each month is around what he pays for his Condo every month. In 2011 he might've made 120-150k but that was extremely circumstantial due to Machinima's clout at the time, Game Grumps not being around, etc. etc. In other words It was never going to last.

It is a hard thing to try and figure out because the only info you get is from Phil and it is always inconsistent. Recently he said hi current Youtube check is 1/6th of what he made at his peak. I tried to figure something out using $100,000 as a baseline because it is agreed upon he was pulling in six figures at one time. I quickly quit that when my very rough estimate put him over 50k a year because it is gross to see anyone who is such a leech to society doing that well. Dsp is no different then a person paying for their groceries with food stamps then driving away in their brand new Lamborghini. I have no doubt disability fraud is one of Phil's only backup plans.

Yeah, it'd be a shame if there were a group of people out there who document all his misdeeds and leave it out in the open for anyone to read about or use against him. Real shame.

This. He could be doing very well- as in max out an IRA, invest a bunch in mutual funds, make extra payments on debts, etc well. But DSP is busy doing DSP stuff.

I was pondering the other day if Phil had any investments, but with the way he speaks about money I doubt he puts any in an IRA or went through the hassle of setting up a general investment account anywhere. He's very much the trope of the financially illiterate american with reckless spending habits, debt up to his eyeballs and no savings because he thinks he's totally fine as long as he has credit.

To save you time from watching the WiPshit:

Monday: Agents of Mayhem / Sonic Mania
Tuesday: Uncharted - The Lost Legacy / Telltale's Guardians of the Galaxy - Episode III
Wednesday: Uncharted - The Lost Legacy / OPEN
Thursday: Ask The King / OPEN
Friday: Call of Duty WWII Beta / OPEN
Saturday: OPEN
Sunday: OPEN
Monday: OPEN

Will review Agents of Mayhem if he completes it early. Will review Sonic Mania when he feels ready.
Will not play Madden NFL 18 unless somebody donates him a copy, and will only play its Story Mode.
Continues blaming YouTube for his revenue problems, including the demonetization of half of KOGaming.
Will no longer make edited videos for KOGaming. Is going back to talking-head reviews.
Spends the final ten minutes begging and plugging Patreon. May not be able to pay his bills in September.
Goes on a tangent about Google/YouTube employees. "How do you tank YouTube? That's how dumb they are!"
Claims that he doesn't want to complain about his finances. Does it anyways.
Onyx has apparently been "out of his home country".

So can we call Danganronpa 2 officially dead? He would have probably dropped it earlier, but a lot of people did give him shit when he was trying to get money for another patron choice playthrough when it was clear he was about to quit the last one so he forced his way through a few more sessions filled with talk of futanari.

Can anyone show evidence of ONE person asking Dsp to play fucking Madden? This seems like Phil wants to see if sports games bring in views/money but he does not want to fund his own experiment.
