Ok, what has WotC been doing to pander to them?

WotC does have some presence on Tumblr, most notably Mark Rosewater, one of the game designers, has a Tumblr page where he sometimes answers questions about the game. One notable chimp-out from him was where he snapped at someone calling the Gatewatch the "Jacetice League", as if it were an insult instead of a catchy nickname, as well as the follow up to that initial chimp-out.

They also had a flag of WotC's symbol with the LGBT colors at a Seattle Pride parade, and the game itself seems to pandering more towards that audience, i.e. hints about Chandra Nalaar having a crush on Nissa Revane, and they even introduced a transgender woman as a character in one of their storylines, although I'm not sure if it's because they want the storyline to go that way, or they are actually doing that just to pander to the LGBT crowd.

But back on-topic, here's another piece of MTG artwork, again it's the message that puts it in the SJW/Tumblr category.

You're speaking of Mega Man from the classic games who was a lab assistant robot named Rock who was converted into a fighting robot to stop Dr. Wily. This is X (His name isn't "Mega Man X" like people think) who's unique in being the first robot to think and feel like humans. X is named after the variable as he's capable of growing and evolving to deal with situations. If you heard about the "technological singularity", he's like that but human shaped.

In other words, they're saying "perfect AI designed to surpass any of its flaws has a neurological disorder".
