UN Turkey Just Lowered The Age of Consent To Twelve Years Old - R. Kelly Rejoices

The Turkish Constitutional court has lowered the age of consent to 12-years-old, prompting a dispute between Turkey and Austria after news of the decision was shown on tickers at Vienna’s international airport.

This summer, the Turkish Hurriyet reported:

“The Constitutional Court has ruled to annul a provision that punishes all sexual acts against children under the age of 15 as “sexual abuse,” stirring outrage from academics and women’s rights activists who warn that the decision will lead to cases of child abuse going unpunished.

Okay friend let me explain something since you seem to be new here, hebephilia is NOT the same thing as pedophilia. This is fucking classic Islamist behavior and why more and more people are becoming skeptical of the term "Islamophobia." Even though "Islamophobia" has legitimate meaning in some cases (like when a woman who's wearing a hijab gets harassed even though she's not bothering anyone), Islamists are increasingly using the term to censor criticism of Islam. They know that accusations of racism will shut a lot of people up, so it's their "get out of jail free" card. In particular, Turkish officials have been using it a lot recently to try to censor criticism against their growing Islamic theocracy/dictatorship.

The idea of some poor 12-year-old girl being legally married off to and raped by some older man is revolting. There are no excuses for it.

What a great thing for them to spend time on, certainly they have no other more pressing issues.
It's one thing to be a bumfuck country that hasn't raised the age of consent since the middle ages because you're too busy being bombed/no one cares, it's quite another to have that law already in place and then lower it because ??? :islamic:
