He will likely fast sell the condo in CT for next to nothing before having to move back. I can't for the life of me figure out why he doesn't rent out an empty condo in CT that is never used and he is spending close to 2 grand a month on.

He probably can't rent it out... Would cost more to hire a rental agent and a management company to manage the unit than he would receive in rent.

He needs to sell his place in Washington ASAP and move back to CT. That will right his ship a little.

You're talking about a guy who just financed a brand new mid-size sedan rather than get a used car for a fraction of the price. Phil wants his middle-class life on other people's dimes. He will keep his house as long as possible. Hell, He could probably get a room-mate in his home.

DSP's fans have gotten fed up with the way some users in the Twitch chat are banned forever on a whim while others can troll without worry or immediately are unbanned because they have donated or are liked by the mods.
In fact, the situation and Phil's reaction, as well as changing his mind on what is part of the Halloween Marathon goal, has become so frustrating that some have pulled their Patreon funding forever.
Splendid.

@BSV ultimate Detractor?

i never understood phil's hatred for where he grew up. Like someone with a decent upbringing it is very odd for them to hate their place of birth and have no desure to visit friends and family.

Phils downfall began when he revealed leanna bevause he also started making good money and thats when greed began to manifest in him. You could literally see it happen in real time back then.

Acouple days left this month and he's nearing $800 dollar range. When was the last time he was this low? I have a huge feeling that if he gets below $900 he is going to hit full EMERGENCY mode.View attachment 270056

I think Phil had a weird resurgence late last year/early this year because of the prime lulz all of his personal and professional drama caused by his negligence provided. Now that he is pretty much a broken record of "Things are looking good, nvm things are looking bad, hey things are looking up!" over and over again, those same new people are just bored and have moved on. Remember how he was saying the exact same shit in April about his finances? And then when April came he never mentioned it again? I think him getting a new car also made people completely see through the bullshit.

I can at least sympathize with this. I had a decent upbringing and the place I lived was rural but beautiful during the summer and was diverse enough to cater to different types of people. But it was small, and felt like a trap the older I got. When I returned to college I took out grants and student loans to live where the university was located, and it completely opened my eyes to the reality of that "fresh start" feeling. When I moved back home after graduating I felt trapped and suffocated by the same environment I lived in for 20-odd years even more so. As soon as I got my salary post-college job I immediately worked on moving back to where I lived while in college and now I'm literally counting off days till my move in date. Sometimes you just don't feel right in your hometown anymore. You just grow out of it and desire that change.

Phil's forums and stream chats were nazi spaces long before Vidar has shown up, people got banned for the slightest infraction unless they were cashcows like KGhaleon and Vidar. In his forums, some fanboys even have shown around how many warning points they received and still were able to post, when others have been banned for having suspicious sounding names or a fanboy thought they are sock accounts. Same goes with the stream chat. Unless you are not a known donater to Phil, you can barely talk about something. Phil wants the stream to be DSP related at all times, and his personal guide for the games he is playing. But if you are a living ATM and have the Phildom fetish you can talk about your fantasies, such as foot fetish, MLP shit and whatever (things I have read s far or things drgnkiller archived). Phil has otherwise one of the strictest forums and stream chats available. He is just that paranoid and power-hungry.

That's one thing but you would move to a nearby city/larger town so you can visit your parents and old friends without having to make a huge deal out of it. Moving across the country is something you do when you want to put as many miles you can between you and your past. Maybe Phils' Wolverine toy still haunts him to this day?

I see your point now, yeah its about an hour away. Phil moved as far away from his family as possible.... yet they still give him money every christmas and birthday lol.

The CT condo he's tried to short sell once already. The bank wouldnt accept the 50k offer. Which means likely Phil owes more than 60k on the CT condo. So he could try to list the CT condo again and see what offers he gets on it. But its highly unlikely that he's going to get an offer high enough for the bank to accept the offer because the condo is so under water financially.
I agree that his best move is to sell the WA condo and move back to CT. But to Phil that goes against his narcissism and ego. Selling the WA condo means he's failed. And Phil doesnt fail dood. There was nothing he could do, its not his fault.

If Phil sold the WA condo, he could use the money from the sale to pay for his move back to CT, even with movers doing everything from packing to shipping. He could then pay off the loan on the CT condo and maybe improve it a bit. Likely could also pay off the car loan and his credit card bills. But his ego wont let him do this. That or he's not in as dire straits as he claims to be.

The beginning of the year was all about making it to April, then April/May it was summer, then summer it was the "hardcore gaming season," soon it will be the holiday releases at the end of October, and then it January he will say the holidays didn't do as well as he thought and the cycle will be complete. Even though this is clearly bullshit excuses they follow a pattern that has been going on the last couple years, and if their is a pattern his casual fans can see and predict Phil saying "it is impossible to predict this stuff" is not a valid excuse anymore.

RE: Phil's Nazi chat.

Here's the thing I don't understand: how can anyone give a shit? Phil's stream interaction is borderline non-existent. Most other streamers make a concious effort to be a part of the conversation(s) taking part in their chat. Back and forth, memeing, banter, etc. Phil doesn't do any of that. The only time he ever seems to pay attention to his viewers is when he gets a donation or he's stuck in a game so he stalls while he waits for chat to give him the answer. It's like he approaches his chat as if he's overhearing them; paying attention some of the time but keeping his distance. He never gets involved. His pathetic excuse for commentary is the cherry on top. There's just nothing there.

Phil's whole setup is to blame, I think. Other streamers can glance at their chat without having to turn their head. They're sat a desk with a 2/3+ monitor setup. They just have to glance over. Phil has to turn his head (from having it turned right to look at his TV, to neutral forward, to left) and bend forward into his laggy old laptop. It's pathetic to watch. All this talk of his "office" and "business".... some other streamers could actually get away with speaking like that - their streaming setups do actually resemble offices in a way. Phil's "office" looks like an utterly unergonomic dust-filled manchild storage closet, complete with sweat-stained loveseat.

He said it in one of his recent streams (I only watch highlight channels like Snort Burnell) that he acknowledges that his audience is primarily his cult at this point. He does have a legacy, as weird and nonsensical as it is, so I'm sure half his viewership is purely nostalgia based for his glory days.

This is why Patreon collective goals are dumb. Once you hit below a certain point people just cancel due to having no power anymore.

Business degree.
I would love to know what Phil means when he gives the example that people should report mods that are unbanning users who were "rightfully banned."
That is a subjective statement. So what qualifies a ban as being "rightful"? It's clear a moderator will face Phil's wrath if guessing wrong.
DSP's mods are in an absolutely thankless position. I wouldn't blame them if all but the most devoted acolytes just went ahead and walked off.
It wouldn't be the first time.
