I just want to add that if he is overdrafted he has to pay the original bill plus the overdraft fees or the bank will close his account. Most banks add more fees after every 3-7 business days as well. And, curiously, you'd think he'd be freaking out more about this (like, having a meltdown over the fact that he is broke and may be homeless). But he doesn't really seem to be sweating over it. Hm....

New ALERT video on KOGaming. Summary for those that don't want to watch:

-talks about how the channel has been dead for a while
-wants to start doing reviews again because of new games, but has to change the format.
-basically, no more edited reviews and doing it by talking at the camera (too lazy for editing obviously)
-complains about barely making money off the channel
-bitches about how hard editing is
-says half of his videos had no ads, demonetized, all YouTube's fault, dood
-says it's a waste of time to make the edited videos if he can't make money off of it
-thinks doing talking at the camera reviews will not get flagged for demonetization so he'll try that out

First two videos in the KO Gaming channel in months are immediately flagged as being bad for advertisers.

Well, now no one is seriously going to watch those videos. Back in the day most people would just watch the last video for a game Phil would put out because during the end credits he would give his thoughts about it. Which is why the final part of his LP would have higher views than most. It also had the benefit of forcing him to be concise and get his point out before the credits ended.

Curious how Google determines whether a video is fit to be monetized or not. I doubt they have the capability to accurately parse the audio in the video and the recent video that Phil uploaded is just him sitting on a couch so it doesn't seem to be computer vision. Perhaps they look at some pattern of likes/dislikes?

How do we know for sure that KOGaming isn't flagged per se?

I think thats a trick of the stats, like probably the last time he uploaded it was still with laveria and social blade hasnt updated because it hasn't seen any changes since no new vids were up.


Looking at the stats on the site, his early success with that "oh homeland is so shitty!" video probably fucked with his head. So instead of seeing a channel slowly growing with work he saw a ton of views die off as he couldn't keep up the "this is shit im so angry hahahah" style video. When he should have taken that as an aberration not the norm.

Could be, but the Laveria/Curse/Machinima debacle happened in early/mid May. But there is a video from 2 months ago (not to mention the two posted today but I dont know how often Socialblade parses) That 2 month old video should be under Curse. It has almost 8700 views. So its not like its invisible to the internet. Perhaps the 2 videos he posted today will force Socialblade to update. I dont know how to look at metadata on a particular video. If I did then I could see if the two videos posted today are listed with Curse, Laveria, or his own Adsense.

Time for me to work my google fu

I'd be really interested to see whats up if that is the case. Maybe Lav is fucking with him and starting to claim his vids? That'd be hill--larry--us.

Imagine he misses the Patreon goal by a mile and on October 31 he acts like it is not a special day at all and sits there like it's every other day. He would outright ban people for asking why he is not playing horror games or wearing a costume because he is so full of salt then. Of course he would shit on people doing some Halloween special because those are sheep following a trend.
On the other side he doesn't need to go get a costume and embarass himself a little more like he did with previous choices as the Goutbuster oder Goutpool. Sad thing we would not have a chance to see Phil in blackface or a Hitler costume because that's what everybody is waiting for, a politically incorrect and offensive costume worn by Phil "I am skin color blind" Burnell.
