Maybe this is answered on his own thread but how is BSV financing Phil? I can't imagine someone like him bringing in much money even on an autism bucks tugboat.
 
Youtube has no obligation to you Phil. They offer to pay you under certain terms, which they can change at will according to the agreement you have with them. You have the ability to take your "business" to a competitor if you don't like the terms offered.

His patreon is the ultimate lose lose scenario.

He either hits his goal, and then he has to do his goal. His goal involves playing video games, which he clearly hates with all of the disdain his greasy heart can muster. This solves his financial problems in a way, but it doesn't adress how he's angrier and sadder and more pathetic than your average burger flipper.
Or he DOESN'T hit his goal, in which case he's free. Free to not do his reward, making his streams much less interesting to donating viewers and watch his 'business' slip further out of his fingers, or free to do his reward because he wants to, showing to his viewers that he's the most desperate kind of whore there is, ready to do what he didn't get paid for for a chance to come crawling back next month and try to do better.

There's a third option, which is to keep paying himself to be a whore so other people might hire him in the future. But he's got a degree, he obviously wouldn't stoop to that level. He's not a clown, right?

What are the odds he has even read the terms of service for Youtube, or for anything for that matter? He says himself "Youtube is dead, Twitch is the future" but this never satisfied conman with unquenchable greed will squeeze every last penny he can out of this "dead" platform while shitting on them everyday for the rest of his life.

Lets say Youtube uses the transcript of a video in their algorithm. This video would include the words kill, murder, illegal, and pre-meditation and that is not even mentioning the Youtube stuff. Maybe it is just taking longer to get through Dspgamings 45,000 videos then it did KOGamings 100. Of course Phil would never think of such a thing, he is baffled when a bot calls him by his name on Twitter.

We all know that he'll likely be 'rescued' in the nick of time but I'd like to see phil in the dilemma of being obliged to sit in his cramped office and play through COD or whatever to bottoming views when everybody else is partying and having the time of their life releasing themed khantent during Halloween. It'd be interesting to see if he'd be able to resist breaking down. Come on fanboys, suck it up and resist the urge to empty your parent's change purse this one month. this is the perfect chance for more drama which we know you love too.

Doubtful. YT is the epitome of the faceless automated corporation. He's just getting crushed through their robotic gears along with everyone else and is narcissistic enough to think he's deliberately being targeted. Google doesn't know or give a shit about anybody as a rule and are actually proud of it given how much they trump up their automation and machine learning algorithms. If he really wanted to get their attention phil should actually do something that enrages them like become a hardcore rightwinger or write a viral memo denying that men and women are carbon copies of each other.

The like/dislike ratio may be the culprit. I doubt advertisers want to be associated with videos that people hate. The two new KOGaming videos are 1:1 to 2:1 likes:dislikes and the rest seem to range from 2:1 to 1:8. His DSPGaming videos generally hover around 1:1 and the last upload from a given game consistently seems to be 1:3 or worse. Only some of those videos are demonetized, so maybe there's a threshold somewhere around 1:1?

Perhaps the more interesting point is who goes through his video dumps daily to down-vote each video?

Considering that Norway is pretty much worker's paradise, i find that hard to believe. He just has a shitton of disposable income that he wants to use to le troll the trolls. It's still at his loss at the end of the day.
 
I have a question: Why isn't Phil's MCN doing all the legwork for him? Why has he taken it upon himself to beat this "Youtube fucked me" horse before every livestream?

Any contract that asks you to break the law is not valid and unenforceable. Great analogy, Phil.

Everything we know about this is from Phil's paranoid brain. This could all just be kinks in YouTube's algorithm they'll fix eventually. But of course Phil thinks the sky is falling.

Also, did anyone get a weird culture war vibe from his prestream? "leftist bull shit, YouTube can suck my balls, I know who these people are, I know what they look like. ACK ACK ACK" I wonder if he really believes this or is just fueling the narrative to rally his supporters. We've all seen some of those bizzaro stream comments from people who are clearly unhinged.

With the sharp decline of this month's Patreon funding total, if Vidar makes up the difference then that is going to have a dramatic impact in all the months from now on.
Even more people are going to either lessen their donation amount or pull their financial support altogether, knowing BSV will swoop in with a bag full of cash at the last minute, until he and a few other hopelessly devoted acolytes are the only ones donating to Phil's Patreon.
