The full sized screencap doesn't even exist anymore- the thread was lost under spam attacks and the original image was never archived. And no, I checked; it's not on the farms thread on him either.

That only leaves two possibilities on how Jerry got it; either somebody lurking those threads sent it to him and was saving it for the perfect moment, or he was projecting and attacking josh for the very same thing he ended up doing, except arguably worse because Josh did it in a hurried fashion whilst Jerry saved that shit for a rainy day.

Of course, the latter is such a totally novel and out of character concept, right guys?

Ryder is literally that character that the annoying kid on the playground keeps making shit up about to always come out on top.

And even then, there are still characters that can bypass his BS god-armor and total him.

I wouldn't be surprised if he makes up some new power on the spot that helps Ryder become immune to light/holy magic, if he hasn't already.

So, are Jerry's OCs literally protected by plot armor? Armor that can't be destroyed by 'brute force' for no real reason other than Jerry thinks anime is dumb and that is the only thing all anime characters rely on.

I think by having a "nuanced" conflict, he means that every battle against Ryder has to play like the most complicated match of the hardest strategy RPG you've ever played. And if you do one thing that is covered in Ryder's list of resistances, it's an automatic loss for you, since Ryder is Jerry's precious self-insert some kind of god, I think. And this is assuming that we don't use a character who can bypass Ryder's "immunity", like Dr. Fate, Doctor Strange, Samurai Jack, Magik, et al.

Hmm. Reminds me of his interactions with other people online. They could be getting along nicely, and then BOOM, they say that the wage gap isn't based on sexism, and suddenly they're a Nazi misogynist.
