When people do this stuff and talk about it in thread report their posts. Feel free to reach out to us. There is only a few staff members who are into DSP and none of them want to camp out in a thread but this handful of people are making it so.

Apologies if it sounds like staff is being powertrippy with this thread but the majority are staying within the bounds of the rules while a minority are wrecking it for everyone else.

No problem man. I already reported a w.een (I can't remember exactly how many pages ago, need to check) for "trolling" Phil by donating money to him. IDK if their posts were taken out or not.

Not to mention the fact that a lot of his financial support comes when his fans feel he's being picked on. When trolls leave him alone for a few days & there's no drama he makes like $40 on a stream.

I cant believe a man that calls this his business cant afford to pre-order the games he needs to keep said business functioning. I cant believe Phil doesn't budget for these games in advance, like hobbyist do when planning for a new comic book release, a model toy drop or LARPing event. Phil is the worst at being an accountable business owner.

Again, he's just greedy. He knows that if he pretends he needs someone to buy it for him, he will. That's what they always do. Since he has that option, there's no point for him to buy the games himself, because he knows they're going to give him stuff for free. I might be misremembering, but didn't he get gifted a Nintendo Switch right after release because he cried crocodile tears about losing money from not being able to stream Zelda?

On the one hand I agree.
On the other hand, Phil is part of a system where he is expected to provide interaction to his users for as low as 10 cents. I'm pretty sure that literal cam-whores won't do shit for even 50x that amount.
Even if he consistently made $10 a day from "da trolls" (which in itself is impossible to measure because everyone is a detractor) after 10 straight years he would barely have made a dent in any of his debt.

It was only very recently that he started talking shit about any cheers below 50 cents (or 50 bits, he can't say 50 cents though otherwise he's breaking the rules). This guy is so fucked that he couldn't even keep that up, so he has to sit on the internet, beneath actual cam-whores and read messages from people who send him 10 cents.

Most people probably realize that even if Phil was handed $10,000 right now he would be back on the internet begging within a few weeks.

It doesn't matter much. He isn't using text-to-speech which is okay for troll measures, but if someone troll tips him he simply takes the money, refuses to read the troll message and calls the troll an idiot, with his echo chamber of fans agreeing on him. It's not getting him triggered, he thinks even getting a single cent without helping the troll rising to e-fame makes him the winner.
Remember when he refused to give shout outs to people who helped him or made him fanart when he was on youtube on,y what do trolls tipping him expect? All it does is giving him ammunition to continue his narration that he is the victim of malicious trolls and detractors and he is never wrong.

It really depends how well done it is. The best ones you can't really honestly say whether its a detractor or not.
Like the recent one asking about what happened to the copyright emergency money. Troll/not it made Phil get really angry and they also banned and deleted the message (bonus points for that).
The other good one recently was the "shoutout to DSP enterprises". The fact that Phil identified it as a "troll tip" means we can tell he is quite aware of some of the stories running around about him.

The skill lays in not being overtly offensive or provocative, but saying something which is hard for Phil to call a detractor without looking paranoid.

Another decent usage of tips I've seen is asking him mundane questions that have been answered a thousand times before. He gets really mad about it.

What a waste of money for that fan. He already thinks the game sucks and it is not like Phil is famous for changing his mind once it is made up The only way he does not drop this fast is if he makes an absurd amount of tips every stream. Now he has to guilt trip 3 other fans into buying a copy of the game also so he won't have to mingle with the populace outside his bubble.

What a waste. He's gonna play it for like a week, get bored or butthurt over it not getting him more viewers ($), then shelve it like everything else. I'd love to know if it's different retards fans who keep donating him all these games or one person.

An anonymous fan donated a Switch to him after he bricked the one he had pre-ordered. What happened to the original one is unclear (returned for cash or too lazy to bother?).
